Aug 2024: Lake is dry. Cabin at Lake Vera is a 600 sq ft cabin located in the old campgrounds of Camp Watanda. The cabin has been updated for use as a vacation rental. Our site is only a few minutes from town, but sits within the forested area providing you with a wonderful outdoor experience. It's only a 1 min walk to the lake with partial lake views from the cabin. Canoes and kayaks provided. 2 day min, 3 day min for any Holiday creating a 3-day weekend.

This charming, upgraded 2 bedroom log cabin is just 3.5 miles from Yuba River's Purdon Crossing and 2.5 miles from Nevada City. It has a full kitchen that is well equipped., and a large deck with private hot tub beside it. Also a laundry room sits at the back of the cabin. It is a lovely open forest setting with occasional wild critters visiting. Note*: Spotty cell service. Wifi is AT&T DSL that is good for emails and such, but not for streaming or zooming.
