A private independent generously sized detached annexe building within a countryside setting yet 5 mins drive to Canterbury city centre and the Uni. Accessed via secure metal gates on a long private gravel driveway situated along the route of the original 'Crab and Winkle' railway. The 1st regular steam passenger railway in the world. The property is not visible from the road. The two nearest pubs are The Hare at Blean and The Royal Oak, both situated in Blean and literally a five min drive.

Pear Tree Lodge has recently undergone a complete renovation. The property is self- contained from the main house with underfloor heating throughout and mid-century decor. There is a pretty garden exclusively for guests .Keys can be left out so guests can let themselves in and maintain their privacy, we will be on hand should you need anything. Winter retreat - sauna, hot tub & swimming pond

Spa with hot tub and sauna all heated via a log burner for the ultimate retreat break. Guest house in large gardens, king sized bed, small kitchen and en-suite. Many local attractions near Brighton Gatwick Airport and the South Downs! Pull out double sofa bed, works well for smaller family’s. Stunning 25 meter swimming pond, water is crystal clear. Large deck and sun-loungers by the swimming pond. We use the garden too, it’s part of our home but there is plenty of opportunity for privacy.

Our one bedroom studio is the perfect retreat for two to relax and unwind. Just a short walk from the tree lined high street of Tenterden, with it's eclectic mix of independent shops, historic buildings and small cafes, it is also home to Kent & East Sussex's heritage steam railway. But if relaxing with your favourite glass is more your thing, then it's worth noting, that it is also in the centre of England's wine country, with our local vineyards - from Chapel Down to Gusbourne.
