The workshops consist of an hour and a half of work and fun divided into two parts. The first involves the use of a transparent glass plate where guests will create a figure with pieces of Murano glass, called graniglia, which will then be cooked in the oven. The glass will melt and the created figure will remain with the guest. The second part consists of a demonstration phase by the Maestro and subsequently a practical test of Murano glass processing by the guests. Guests will work the glass with the flame and experience the pleasant sensation of ancient lampwork. The workshops are also ideal for families with children over 12, who will love the magic of glass. Other things to keep in mind The works completed in the first part of the workshop will be cooked in the oven for approximately 3 hours, while the objects made with the flame will be ready after 2 hours of cooling. Everything will be delivered the same day after 2/3 hours or the following day in agreement with the customers. Workshop duration: 1.5 hours.

Why choose this tour? I know every single part of my city, a Venetian born and I am very passionate about giving an authentic experience! Different to the other large company tours you see around, it is only ran by me and we will be in very small group of max 6 people. What will we do? I will take you to 4 typical and classic bacari and osteria of Venice - away from tourist hot spots - that have been around for many years and truly care about the food and drinks they provide. During the evening, you will try 4, specially selected Venetian snacks (cicheti) and 4 fresh glasses of wine (red or white, you can choose!) and get to know about Venice, Italy and your fellow travellers! You will leave the tour with plenty of info on how to move, eat and drink like a local, for the rest of your trip and beyond!

This workshop takes place at Carta Alta, an artisanal mask making studio that created many of the masks worn in famous film productions, such as “Gossip Girl”, “Fifty Shades of Black” and “Spider-Man Far From Home”. The experience starts with a brief explanation of the history of masks in Venice, focusing on the most significant models: the “Commedia dell'Arte" masks, the “Bauta” the “Moretta” and the “Dottore della Peste”. After this introduction we pass on to show you the main techniques we use in our craft when decorating the masks, mainly focusing on our signature: the “baroque technique”. We will prepare for you a wide range of paper-mache masks to choose from and our friendly expert team will assist you in the creation of the handmade masterpiece that you will take home with you in the end. There will of course be time to ask all the questions you would like, and we are happy to share our knowledge about this antique venetian craft and the explanations will be adjusted according to the age and the interests of the participants.And remember, if you want you can take pictures with your creation and our famous masks to share with your friends. We will start from the Church of San Lazzaro dei Mendicanti on the north side of the city and along the Venice Arsenal we will visit the Castello district, one of the oldest parts of the city. We will make a small stop in front of the church of San Pietro di Castello for an aperitif and then continue to the southern part of the city where we will have a panoramic view of the Lido of Venice, the small islands of the southern lagoon and of San Giorgio. We will then return to the canals of Castello until we return to the meeting point. IMPORTANT: The experience works through a sport association, so, legally, I need to release you the sport association member card and the addictional insurance. In order to do that I need your documents at least one day before the experience date.

The tour will last approximately 85 minutes. The main aim of this experience is to take you away from all of the overcrowded areas and to let you admire and appreciate the real Venice in a more intimate and fun environment, guided by a native Venetian! Be prepared to be WOWED by the mysterious and romantic atmosphere that surrounds the canals and gives to the city a unique touch that not many people get to experience. During the tour I am going to guide you through the non-turistic areas where just mostly locals go and I will tell you some Venice history and stories that are part of the local culture. However, during the tour we will also pass in front of all the famous historical sites like: St. Mark Square, bridge of sights, Doge Palace and Salute Curch. Other things to note If you easily get seasick, this might not be recommended for you, but keep in mind that among canals rough sea almost impossible to find. Remember to go to the toilet before getting onboard!

You'll board my bragozzo (named Narciso), a typical traditional Venetian boat that I have tastefully renovated to revoke her old beauty. The tour I'm proposing takes around 6 hours; we will start from the Zattere toward the Venetian lagoon's most beautiful, famous and charming islands: Murano, Burano and Torcello. The first stop will be Murano, where you can admire the glass working in an authentic historic factory. We will continue towards Burano, where you can wander about her worldwide famous-coloured houses and see the traditional handmade lace. In a few minutes, we will arrive at Torcello island, one of the oldest and most significant settlements in the north of the lagoon, surrounded by the native landscape of the salt marshes. You can also have a break for lunch in a typical restaurant where you can taste the local food and relax. Eventually, we will be heading towards the quiet island of Sant'Erasmo and through the San Marco basin to land again on the banks of the Zattere.

We offer the possibility to make excursions with our boat inside the Venetian lagoon, this will allow you to visit inaccessible places, hidden corners, and have lunch in the typical places in the fishing islands, such as Venice, Murano, Burano and Torcello; with aperitif by boat. I'll have the pleasure of sharing this unique experience with you, cooking together the authentic recipes of Venetian and Italian cuisine, teaching you the techniques to carry them out. I’ll lead you on a journey of discovery that will start from the historic Rialto market in the beating heart of the city, where we'll choose the best seasonal ingredients to prepare an authentic Italian meal. We’ll talk about the history of the market and its delicacies before heading to my cooking workshop with its lovely private courtyard. In my kitchen you will learn the recipes to prepare and cook homemade pasta or gnocchi with a delicious sauce made from scratch. A traditional Venetian starter or second course based on fish, meat or vegetables. And the most famous Venetian dessert, the Tiramisù. End your class by sitting down to enjoy the meal together accompanied by an excellent local wine. Things to keep in mind: The market is closed on national holidays.
