"Stable Cottage"

"Stable Cottage" is an old traditional style, converted stone barn, near our historic old farmhouse. It retains many original features such as the original old natural slated roof, old beams, pine boarded floors, exposed original stone walls etc. etc.. It is very quiet and peaceful, on a small working tillage farm. Originally, it was the stable where the horses were sheltered and fed for the winter months while the wheat, feed oats etc was stored on the loft overhead.

The area has numerous attractions including the Hook lighthouse, Dunbrody Famine ship and Tintern Abbey and great watersports including Kayaking, Coasteering. For those looking for the nature trails we have them as well. it is also a fantastic location for Anglers.

Lovely Farmhouse in central Wexford

Lovely old farmhouse with wood burning stoves and an aga, perfectly located for touring the south east or heading to the ferry.The main Waterford / Wexford road is just 5 minutes away and the Enniscorthy bypass can be reached in ten minutes. The house is ideally situated for a quick stop heading to or from the ferry in Rosslare, as it is approx 30 minutes away , or stay a bit longer and see all that Wexford has to offer.
