The village is very quiet and peaceful with lovely local walks. The Cottage is 2 miles from Knaresborough, 5 miles from Harrogate and 20 miles from York, all of which have excellent restaurants and shops. York Garden House

The York garden house stands under a oak tree in our garden, with private entrance. The garden, fire pit area (where you can toast marshmallows or use a disposable BBQ) and the glass roofed seating area/patio (to enjoy a takeaway from the village) are entirely yours to use. The garden room is also very private. It is a small, cosy & warm ( similar to glamping pod) There are electric radiators and its cosy on winter nights. It has two small single beds. Log burner is for aesthetics.

January dates updated. Enjoy luxury accommodation in a desirable location near York, Harrogate and Castle Howard. Our converted barn in landscaped gardens, has two double bedrooms, the main having cast iron free standing bath. Bedroom 2 has twin single beds. The open plan kitchen and living space is an ideal living area, with another quiet sitting room on the first floor overlooking the gardens, our house The Croft being adjacent. We also have a 7kW EV charging point.

Garden Cottage at Ganthorpe Hall

Garden Cottage in Ganthorpe is located in this idilic hamlet with no through traffic, this one level cottage is located at the back of Ganthorpe Hall, separated by a passage and boot room. It looks out into the orchard and into the Howardian Hills. Lovingly restored by myself, you will find a space filled with books, textile furnishings and walls hung with paintings by my grandfather. 2 dogs welcome (the bedroom & bathroom are dog free).

Superb luxury holiday accommodation. The Old Stables is a stunning barn conversion set in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds. It has space in abundance, with a light airy contemporary feel yet retaining fabulous features such as the vast vaulted ceiling and the underfloor heating keeps you cosy on those chilly evenings. The Spectacular bi-fold doors open out onto a lovely patio, garden and hot tub area, which is a fantastic sun trap.
