Superb house like no other in the Dordogne valley: on the square of a listed village, built in the 15th century, wood panelling from the 18th century, giant stone staircase and stone walls, big fireplaces... A lot of history packed in a spacious (1700 ft 2) house equipped with all the modern conveniences. Large bedrooms with each its bathroom. Ideally located to visit the area, Padirac, Rocamadour... Lakeside cabin with space for 1-4 people. This recently restored boathouse will give you a real switch off from the modern world feel, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Sleep up in the bedroom or on the extremely comfortable sofabed if climbing the stairs is not for you. Relax on the terrace, take a siesta in the hammock. Within 1hr of the Dordogne, numerous chateaux at 20 mins as well as some lovely local villages. Come and unwind.
