Garden annex near York and Harrogate

The annexe is very eco-friendly with solar electricity and ground source heating so your stay will be carbon neutral. It is close to great pubs and scenic places. The studio is self contained , private, light and airy with wonderful views over looking fields of open countryside. There is a large garden which you are welcome to use. There is plenty of space for parking and a lockable bike storage is provided. The Village has a post office which is adequately stocked for essentials if needed.

Off the main street in the small historic village of Linton-on-Ouse which lies close to the national trust property of Beningborugh Hall and within 30 mins drive of York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon. The area provides open countryside which is popular with cyclists and walkers. “Fig Tree Cottage” is a recently completed conversion project finished to a high modern standard providing quality accommodation. There are a couple of pubs and the Lock House Pub serves food and takeaways.

Our converted barn in landscaped gardens, has two double bedrooms, the main having cast iron free standing bath. Bedroom 2 has twin single beds. The open plan kitchen and living space is an ideal living area, with another quiet sitting room on the first floor overlooking the gardens, our house The Croft being adjacent. Adorable annexe in Crayke, North Yorkshire.

The Annexe is in the picturesque village of Crayke, surrounded by beautiful views and walks in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Lots of places to explore inc National Trust Sites and Houses. Crayke is surrounded by lots of eateries and quaint market towns, whilst been only a 20 minute drive from York, a hot spot for history. Surrounding villages offer dog friendly walks including woodland, field and lake or river. Within an hour are the Yorkshire Dales and Moors.

Countryside location near to York

Nestled in the countryside just outside York, 'The Kennel' is a relaxing and peaceful retreat. This small but perfectly formed self-contained annex is set in three acres of newly planted woodland in which you can often see the Barn, Tawny and Little Owls visiting to be fed from the feeding posts, garden, small orchard, wildlife pond and apiary housing up to 8 beehives which provide us with some delicious honey. To the rear of the property is a Whisky and Gin Distillery.

The Annexe @ Number 9

The Annexe is located in the pretty village of Great Ouseburn, 10 minutes from the market town of Boroughbridge and a 30 minute drive from both Harrogate and York. The Annexe offers excellent value for money and with comfortable, cosy and well equipped accommodation and everything you need for a relaxing stay for a couple of days or longer. Although it is linked to my home, It is self contained with its own entrance, giving guests their freedom and privacy.

The Salt House Cottage, Pilmoor

Guests have a small private grassed area with a table and chairs. The cottage has dishwasher, washing machine and wood burning stove, all logs included. We do not accept pets. In summer, when the swing seat is out, guests have access to the main garden. The cottage has no internet connection but depending on your network, a good 3G or 4G signal can be accessed. We do not accept bookings from people who smoke or vape. Check in from 2pm, check out 10am.

This private annexe at Gowlands Farm House is located just off the A59, 8 miles from York and 14 miles from Harrogate, it makes an ideal base for visiting the nearby towns, cities and countryside that Yorkshire has to offer. York Park and Ride is located 5 miles away. The North York Moors and Coast, together with the Dales, are accessible as an alternative day out. The brick-built annexe is detached from the main house allowing privacy.
