Unique glamping experience offering the luxury of a bedroom in nature. The site has with 2 micro-bedrooms with doors which completely open, and a pull down mosquito blind, to get that real outside feeling and no worrying about pests. The rooms have block out blinds, queen size bed, lamps, and wall fan. The site has a private kitchen with fridge/freezer, kettle, 2 gas hobs all crockery, cutlery, and utensils plus a braai, fire-pit & wood fired hot tub. Shared up-market ablution within 10 meters.

Gorgeous cottage with indoor fireplace

The cottage is beautifully decorated and utterly charming. The beautifully presented and well-preserved rural styled home with reclaimed features is well positioned for easy access to the quaint town. There are two spacious bedrooms with high ceilings throughout, a sun-drenched living room with a working fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful main bedroom with ensuite bathroom and spacious shower. The large entertainment stoep is a must see ! Wifi: a stable 10Mbps line is included.

"Off-the-grid" stone cottage

Remote and private "off the grid" stone cottage set in the heart of Touwsberg Private Nature Reserve ( just off "Route 62") about 40km from Barrydale. The reserve is well known for it's varied biodiversity and stunning scenery. Accessible with an average car/sedan, however low clearance vehicles will struggle. The Cottage is well equipped, comfortable and completely private. Please note cell/3G reception requires a 2 minute walk.

When we first opened our spot we were truly over the hills and far away... now the village has grown around us a bit, but the place can still feel pretty secluded. The architect-designed house mixes inside/outside space with plenty of room for family.. Explore wetland, river and the Langeberg mountains. With plenty of comforts this spot is paradise for children, dogs and a retreat for adults.
