Sunrise Casita: a tiny house at Cana Barn

Our 250 sq ft tiny house was built by our talented craftswoman Kara. We used wood from our property and reclaimed materials to create a cozy and unique getaway. The front porch looks out to a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and looks up to a local vintage sign. We are LGBTQ+ welcoming. Sunrise to us is the embodiment of a fresh start and a new opportunity. It is hope and possibility, adventure and inspiration, beauty and wonder. We hope all of this for your stay in our tiny house!

Labrador Manor Mia Suite

It was love at first sight when I found the old 1880 Italiante house in 2018. The house was uniquely open and inviting with large windows that allowed lots of light flooding the interior. Featuring 10 ½ foot ceilings, big open rooms, plastered walls, a small garage and off street parking, the house had great possibilities. The house has undergone complete renovations. It is literally a new house in “old bones”. Named after my many dogs that have brought me so much love, Labrador Manor.

Newly renovated 2BR downtown apartment

Our apartment is on the second floor of an 1880s Beaux Arts building in downtown Staunton, above Réunion Bakery and Espresso and next door to the Staunton Historical Society. The building has no parking lot, but a city parking garage is directly across the street, an on-street parking is free for 2 hours M-F and evenings/weekends. One bedroom has an en suite bathroom , and the other has its own bathroom across a small hall. Both bedrooms have brand-new, very comfy king beds.

Little Cabin in the Woods is quiet and secluded!

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.

Little Yellow Hideaway (Apt in Historic Home)

Our little imperfect home that creeks and looks pretty good for being over 100. Currently it is getting a bit of a makeover and upgrade. It has a roomy, walkout basement apartment with windows in every room and is tucked away in the heart of downtown. This home dates back to the 1800s, with loads of character and occasionally a bit of noise from the upper levels. It’s not a high-end trendy spot, but it’s humble, and perfect in our eyes.
