Mountain cabins nestled in the Italian countryside with charming villages nearby for local restaurants, bars & cafes. Marked hiking trails are right outside the door. There are direct trains to Rome (under 1 hour) or Naples (1.5 hours) & the sea is a short drive—or just relax on the 5 acres! This part of Italy is never very cold—it’s always a beautiful time to visit. Bonus: When you rent one cabin, the second cabin is included. The property is rented to one set of guests only (for privacy).

It can accomodate 2 to 4 persons. All at your fingertips: Long beach 1.5 km, the best spot for birdwatching in the Salina which is located near is 5.5 km away, market 5 min walking, restaurants 5-10 min walking. Our Salty Cabin lies in the village of Zoganje (Zogaj), surrounded by an olive grove counting over three hundred trees. Located nearby are Salina salt pans, a salt factory-turned-bird park where both silence and sounds of nature such as birds chirp and frog “ribbit” can be experienced and enjoyed. Location is perfect for enjoying birdwatching and getting to know around half of the European bird species. Out of 500 species, around 250 can be seen flying over, or around, the Salty Cabin.
