Charming Secluded Guest Suite near Woodland Park

This secluded and very quiet, 370 sq ft in home apartment, space is nestled in the trees with a territorial view to the southwest. If you have an appreciation for hand crafted details this is the place for you: hand made windows, a bed frame made from salvaged fir bleacher seats, owner designed light fixtures, and traditionally crafted woodworking details throughout. The Chestnut stays cool in the summer and cozy in the winter with its heated concrete floors. Open all twelve windows south and west and you might think you’re in a treehouse. This space is thoughtfully designed as a restful retreat after a long day of exploring or hectic day of business travel. If you like to cook, the kitchen is complete with a gas range, a full size electric oven, microwave, under counter refrigerator/ freezer, farm style sink, and all the needed utensils. The Chestnut has its own secure entrance and private patio. It is accessible by stairs only. I am here and happy to help. Perched on the hilltop above the historic business district, the Chestnut provides easy access to Fremont neighborhood and many delicious restaurants and local shops. Look for the many public art pieces nearby or walk along the gorgeous ship canal. There are plenty of food options within walking distance and a number of buses that will easily take you downtown, east to the University district, west to Ballard, and north to greater North Seattle.

We have had so much fun providing a wonderful place to stay for our guests visiting Seattle. We have traveled often and are always looking for an affordable yet perfect place to stay. Our apartment offers all the comforts of home during your travels. Please enjoy our above garage apartment. You will find everything you need for your stay in Seattle. We are 5 minutes from the airport in Burien and walking distance from Old Burien where you will find great restaurants and shopping. We are close to Seahurst beach if you want to walk on the beach and enjoy a sunset. We are about 15 min driving distance from downtown Seattle. You have your own outside entrance and a private parking space in the backyard. Inside you will find a full bath and full kitchen, for those who love to cook. There is a Trader Joes not far for fun food without all the work. We will have coffee and basic pantry needs. Just stop for groceries if you would like to prepare your own favorite recipes. Lightly furnished, towels and bedding are provided. The mattress is extremely comfortable with wonderful bedding. Wi Fi is available and there is full cable. We are happy to take any reservations last minute. Please let us know if you need an early check in or a late check out. 'the Hut': a Garden in Magnolia

'the Hut' is located in a safe woodsy & quiet area of single family homes. We are close to downtown Seattle & the waterfront (Lumen Field is 6 miles away, Climate Pledge Arena is 4 miles, the waterfront is 2.5). Many restaurants and grocery stores, as well as Discovery park are within a mile or two. It's a stand alone home with a queen bed & a private entrance. Parking is easy & the bus (#24) is a block away. Please note-for those that may have mobility issues-there are a few steps to navigate.

It boasts an open concept layout that feels gracious and relaxing. Our family of 5 lives full-time upstairs. We attempt to keep the noise to a minimum, and you will hear us. You are welcome in my home! It's a well-maintained two-bedroom 1920 Craftsman house in a quiet, walkable neighborhood close to both Greenlake, the University of Washington, and Wallingford. I've got central A/C + Hepa, extremely comfortable Leesa beds, a 65 inch 4K flatscreen with YouTubeTV/Amazon, gigabit Wifi, a well-equipped kitchen, gas fireplace to get cozy and a fully-fenced backyard with hot tub grill and outdoor dining. Clean and Contact-Free. This Treehouse is for the true adventurer. This bungalow is lifted 17' off the ground, great for one/two nights, think GLAMPING! Must love steps, must love heights, and must love incredible views. Your private bathroom is a wee-bit of a hike to get to (down/up the stairs), but has all the amenities you need. We'll give you great ideas for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and activities for the day. At night, just take in the view and watch a movie with your electric fireplace.
