Lovely apartment in a beautiful old villa

This is a lovely apartment on top floor under the roof of an old wonderful villa with 3 rooms on 1st floor. The top floor has got its own bath and mini-kitchen. The bed can easily be separated into two proper single beds (1x2 m each). However, the stairs to top floor are quite steep so one needs to be a bit careful when walking up and down to 1st floor. The main kitchen at the basement is to share. You have the beautiful park at your doorstep with the city being in walking distance.

Schmidt's guest house

Our guesthouse is idyllically located at the gates of the Frankenwald surrounded by beautiful hiking areas such as the Steinachtal. Both Kulmbach and Kronach can be reached in about 15 minutes by car, and a bus stop is right at your doorstep. Free parking is available. On 200 m2 on 3 floors, it can now accommodate up to 12 people. The rooms are airy, with historical details from many decades. The house is located in the middle of the Thuringian Slate Mountains, close to the Hohenwarte reservoir, the ideal area for hiking, bike rides or canoeing.

Our accommodation has three comfortably furnished apartments (St. Hilda, St. Margret and St. Bridget) for four persons each, one bathroom with shower and one kitchen with dining table. In the attic there is a group room with a dining table for 14 people, an attic room and a youth room with bunk bed. The Casa Cara garden invites you to relax, barbecue and chat. The cottage is quiet, without through traffic, right on the edge of the forest, with a beautiful hiking trail. In the area there are cycling and excursions to sights (e.g. gold museum, castle ruin Rauenstein, etc.). For children, there are great highlights here: in the cottage itself a huge playroom, in Sonneberg the Exotarium, toy museum, toboggan runs, ski slopes and much more... Also suitable for ski fans! There are all slopes in the area.
