Family Friendly Rotorua

The private self-contained unit is in the quiet and safe neighborhood of Lynmore, Rotorua and on the doorstep to the mountain bike and walking trails of Whakarewarewa/redwood forest. The accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen, wifi and netflix. The accommodation is central to the main attractions and the center of Rotorua is a 5 minute car ride away. Check-in is 4pm on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. All other days is 2pm. We may be able to accommodate earlier check-in upon request.

A serene spot on the edge of lake Rotorua. Located in one of the only parts of lake Rotorua to have sandy swimming beaches. Meters from the water. A short walk to a large children's playground, boat ramp, boardwalk, 5 star restaurant/massage & spa, bus to town and airport. Situated a short drive to all that Rotorua has to offer; especially close to the redwoods and the huge indoor Motion Entertainment complex. Supermarket and a variety of food choices nearby.

An authentic 1940's Fisherman's cottage, a relaxing lakeside retreat. Safe beach for children. Modern conveniences. Renowned area for trout fishing, 8 Km to Rotorua. Five minutes drive to tourist attractions Skyline Skyrides, the Luge, Rainbow Springs, Mitai Cultural Show. The Agrodome, the Zorb. Great mountain biking on forest trails. We have just returned the cottage as a holiday rental following it being blocked out for 18 months as a long-term rental for our friends. It’s been described as an oasis of contemporary tranquillity, set on 100 acres within the Lake Okareka Village community. Relax, retreat, ride or revel in all that Rotorua and its surroundings have to offer. King bed in the living area and king single bunks plus single rollaway in the bedroom.

Excellent lake views!

This all day sunny bach is a great place to relax, enjoy the lake views, have a wine by the pizza oven, soak in the outdoor bath. If you want a bit of activity, take out the kayaks/paddle board or bring your bikes to ride in the Redwoods. Fishing, water skiing and the hot pools are just boat ride away, off street parking is available and jetty access upon request.
