We work hard to make your vacation or work stay a 5 STAR experience and ALL of our guests have agreed that this home delivers! Please read the reviews. They are outstanding. My Airbnb is close to EVERYTHING in Ottawa's best neighbourhood, the Glebe. Walk to TDPlace (3min), the Lansdowne stadium, Carleton University, restaurants, theatres, shopping and Bank Street. Just a hop along the Canal to Parliament, downtown, the Byward market, CHEO and Ottawa U. Cozy and homey. Warm and welcoming. Fun and functional. * Brand new Beauty Rest 2,000 coil King bed * Brand new Kingsdown Queen bed * Fluffy robes * Wood Burning Fireplace * Crate and Barrel Queen Sofa bed. * White goose down Duvets. * Ralph Lauren linens. * Old world charm / Lofty ceilings and high baseboards. * NETFLIX, CNN, 50" 4K resolution TV * High speed internet Rogers Ignite 5G service * Free Parking * Outdoor decks (Front and back of house). * Close to EVERYTHING. Just some of the comforts you will enjoy in my home. The eat-in chef’s kitchen is well stocked with stemware, dishes, pots, pans, 3 coffee makers, blenders, toasters, kettles, a bread maker, a popcorn maker and a crock pot. There is a whisper quiet dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, Sub Zero fridge and granite countertops . We also provide spices, olive oil, popcorn, paper towels and breakfast essentials such as STARBUCKS coffee, tea, cereal and oatmeal during your stay. The wood burning fireplace and 50 inch Smart TV (NETFLIX) are great for all. Business guests will enjoy the HIGH SPEED internet (Rogers Ignite 200 Mbps service), access to fitness, private decks and free parking. We also put in a land line telephone so that you can make local calls using a telephone rather than your cell phone. A voice activated, 50 inch, 4K high resolution TV and wood burning fireplace will make you want to stay in, but the supreme location near Lansdowne and the Canal will get you out and enjoying your day. Host speaks French and English to help you with your stay. This Glebe home is a great home away from home! It is a secure and private retreat and all yours during your stay. Great access to the Canal, shopping, fitness, theatres, grocery stores, Bank Street, Lansdowne, Whole Foods, Starbucks and the LCBO. Walking distance to Carleton University, the University of Ottawa, Parliament Hill and downtown. Very safe and vibrant neighbourhood. Well-lit entrance to the street. Sparkling clean. There is a little front deck and a larger back deck for guests to use. Lansdowne, the Canal and three city parks are just out the door but it is still nice to enjoy a drink on the patio. The" baby park" is two doors down but there is a large city park with an open air swimming pool, baseball diamond, dog park and tulips! Still have questions? Ask away. Host is available when needed and can meet guests at the home if requested. The house is in the Lansdowne neighborhood, close to theaters, restaurants, entertainment venues, and community parks. Walk to Carleton University, U of O and take a short transit ride to Parliament Hill. The Rideau Canal is out the front door. The best way to get around the Glebe is to walk but we are also very close to Bank Street where the #1 or #7 will take you right downtown. You can also walk along the Canal to get downtown. Easy walking or biking distance to Carleton University and Ottawa U. Additional parking can be provided for $30 per night. Guests must park only in the designated parking spot. (Thanks!) Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the home or on the property. No parties. Guests must respect quiet hours between 11 pm and 7 am. Guests must be mindful of neighbours.

Explore The Glebe from a Charming and Scenic Loft

Lean back on a leather chaise sofa and be submerged in daylight from a set of corner windows in this hip apartment. Fix a cup of coffee in a warm kitchen, walk across light wood floors, and step out onto the balcony for fresh air and lovely views. Amazing views of the Canal, Bank Street bridge, Lansdowne Park and Old Ottawa South. Bright, modern condo with extra space created with a 'murphy bed' style bedroom, stylishly camouflaged. Cool kitchen & custom table to people watch on the street below, coffee in hand. Equipped with apple tv. in cozy lvng rm area, sorry no cable, hate commercials. The balcony is a sweet place to sit and enjoy a moment with a great view of the neighbourhood. Full access. The building itself has no amenities inside. No laundry services available on site. The apartment is located beside Lansdowne Park, facing the Canal and Bank Street Bridge. It sits between Old Ottawa South and The Glebe, surrounded by idyllic homes, quiet streets, parks, and ponds. Restaurants, shops, and bars are just steps away. Bus stop is directly in front of building and is a10 min ride to the Byward Market. Best way to get around is ice skating 100 meters away or bicycle anywhere for summer, you are in the best part of town and within easy striking distance to whatever neighborhood your travels take you to. The city has convenient bike rental kiosks set up in key locations. I don't have a dedicated parking space on site. There are 2 on site visitor parking spaces that are available on a first come first serve basis. If neither spot is available grab a street spot (it’s free but has a 2 hour time limit during the day from 7am-11pm, and no time limits overnight) and keep an eye on visitor spots as they come available many times a day. If you don't want to play that game you can use the under ground parking lot across the street and pay the daily rate which I believe is about $20. -There are black out shades in bedroom area but it gets bright in the morning if the sun is out so if you are the kind of person that requires complete darkness to sleep stay away. -I don't have a dedicated parking space on site. There are 2 visitor parking spaces that are available on a first come first serve basis. If neither spot is available grab a free street spot (2 hour time limits during the day from 7am-11pm, no time limits overnight) and keep an eye on visitor spots as they come available many times a day. If you don't want to play that game you can use the under ground parking lot across the street and pay the 20$ daily rate. -The heating and cooling is Geothermal. The AC works perfectly 95% of the time. If its unusually hot out the unit may have a little trouble keeping up to the demand. For example if its set to 22 degrees, the unit may only be able to provide a temperature of 24 degrees during the daytime due to the load requirements. In the evening when things cool off the unit will catch up to the set temperature. But, keep in mind, this type of problem is rare.

Take a stroll along the river to Windsor Park, then see a film at the longstanding Mayfair Theatre or attend one of the many events at Lansdowne Park. Everything is at your fingertips. There is a Shoppers Drugmart just up the street Sunnyside and Bank. The TD center is a 10 min walk. There you will find groceries, restaurants, farmers market in the summer, movie theatre, all kinds of shopping boutiques and stores, concert venue, sports venue. There is a city bus stop in front of the building. The airport is a 13 min drive and the train station 10 min. The Voyageur bus station is a 35 min walk . Carleton University is 30 min walk Ottawa University is 10 min drive or 40 min walk The apartment is located on the lower level of a 4 apartment building. There is no parking on the property itself but street parking is available for free and there are no restrictions.
