The cottage is family-owned and is located in beautiful and peaceful surroundings next to Medalfellsvatn Lake with spectacular views over the lake. The cottage is located near Reykjavik, about 30-40 minute drive from Reykjavik. It is ideally situated amongst Iceland's most popular attractions. Many of the attractions are within 1 one-hour drive from the cottage, e.g. the Þingvellir National Park, which is on the way to Gullfoss and Geysir. Hot tub available upon request for €15 per day.

The Secret Cabin with hot tube in Nature Reserve

The location is exceptional, located hillside in a beautiful nature reserve, still very close to the downtown Reykjavik, 20 min drive. In winter Dec-March 4x4 car is essential in Iceland. No public transport. Enjoy the hot tube in the evening and watch for the Northern Lights, then rest inside and amid wood paneling that extends to the vaulted ceilings, and look out forest-wards from the deck. The International airport is 40-50 minutes drive. Ideal located for exploring the South West.

Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Stínukot. Brand new tiny house near Reykjavik.

Nýbyggt smáhýsi nálægt hinu fallega og eftirsótta Meðalfellsvatni. Staðsett í Kjós nálægt Hvalfirði eða í 20 mínútna keyrslu frá Þingvöllum og 30 mínútna keyrslu frá Reykjavík. Einnig aðeins 15 mínútna keyrsla að Hvammsvík hot spring. Hér færðu sveitasælu í íslenskri náttúrufegurð en ert samt örstutt frá miðborginni og gullna hringnum. Fullkomin staðsetning. Rafmagn, heitt og kalt vatn og hiti er í húsinu.

Cozy nature cabin in Reykjavik.

A small cabin in Iceland's capital, Reykjavík. Located by lake Hafravatn. For those seeking nature surroundings and a new experience, definitely diffrent from the typical hotel room! Only a 14 minute drive to down town Reykjavik and only a 30 minute drive to the national park Þingvellir. This comfortable guesthouse is only 50 minutes from Keflavík airport. Golden circle road is a couple minutes away.

Rustic and charming place with a hot tub

A cozy and rustic studio by the sea. Kitchen, bathroom and a queen size bed. Movie projector with Netflix and other stations. Dartboard and cattle bells. Hut tub right in front of the cabin with an outdoor dining area. If you are lucky, you will catch the Northern lights from the hut tub. Government license number: HG-00003484

Cozy little house in the quiet and beautiful countryside of Kjos, panoramic views of mountains and the surrounding countryside. Excellent location--only 45-minutes to Reykjavik and Thingvellir National Park. Close by to Glymur Waterfall and many great hiking opportunities. A GREAT PLACE FOR WATCHING THE NORTHERN LIGHTS.
