Writer’s Retreat

A minimalist bright two bedroom apartment by the Hooghly put together by two people who make a living writing. So come spend a few days when you want to write, think, Netflix and chill on a 55” TV, or just need some time out. It’s just twenty odd minutes from New Alipore. But it’s quiet. It’s got the Hooghly flowing by it. And it’s got 100 odd books in the living room. Except for one room which we’ve locked up, we’ve left our home and everything in it as is just the way we do for our friends.

‘Moksh’ a home on the bank of river Hooghly.

It is called the river home because my house is right on the bank of the river. Its the property and the river, nothing in-between. A perfect place to cleanse and unwind. The home has a mandir. Along with the flower garden, there is a kitchen garden and we grow seasonal vegetables. Soft archery, carrom., dart board available. The place has a hammock and fishing rod for angling. The river and the sky has its own beauty. Looks spectacular in different seasons. A perfect retreat.
