Waikawa Landing : Self Contained Apartment.

Tastefully decorated apartment with wifi and Nespresso coffee machine ( with capsules) , microwave , tea and coffee, and a BBQ. The BBQ is located in a covered area at the entrance to the apartment. It has 2 cooking grids and 1 hotplate on which a pot or frying pan can be used. All pots and cooking utensils are provided. Note : The only means of cooking provided inside the apartment is a microwave . Welcome to Picton our little paradise the gateway to the South Island. PETS ARE WELCOME

A delightful garden studio queen bed plus a small lounge, set on the sunny side of Waikawa at the top of the South Island of New Zealand. Waikawa is a microclimate very sheltered and peaceful, private outdoor living on the guest patio, BBQ, Sheep in the adjacent paddock, 5 minutes to the safe swimming beach, 4 minutes to the local marina, Jolly Roger Café bar. 8 minutes drive to Picton's shops, restaurants and ferry terminal. There are many bush walks. Karaka Point Maori Pa Site is four km .

The Cowshed

Herd of Cows?! Quiet, comfortable and fun accommodation just 15 minutes walk through the picturesque Picton Marina to cafes, bars, shops, theatres, cruises and walking tracks. Free pickup and setdown from ferry may be available. Transfer from Blenheim by arrangement. Be warned......this great priced accommodation is probably nothing like you have ever stayed in previously. My folly and a labour of love! If you don't have a sense of humour or don't like cows.....don't book in! :-)

Only 10 minutes drive from Picton where the train, bus or ferry connects you to the gateway of the South Island or North Island. Only 5 mins drive from Picton central by car. Ideal location to get to or from the ferry. Relax & unwind @ this unique location, with its abundance of bird song. Happy to accomodate Ferry crossing travellers, I dont mind late arrivals from the ferry or early departures. Owner on site in separate private dwelling, allowing full privacy & exclusive use of 'The Milton'. A wide selection of breakfast foods provided, for your self serve, to suit your routine/travel times.

Spectacular sea views over the beautiful Waikawa Bay in stunning Marlborough Sounds. A 2-minute stroll to the beach, jetty & boat ramp. Kids playground, free BBQ, small beach, jumping off water platoons, a lovely place to spend the day/evening. King bedroom upstairs with lounge, kitchen, bathroom and deck all to yourselves in an elevated position at the top of a quiet cul de sac. 2 rooms with beds in downstairs. Separate access to the top apartment, street car parking.

Absolute Waterfront Picton Waikawa Bay

Sleep beside the sea in this “can’t get any closer to the water” guest suite. Luxury linens with feather down bedding for the cooler evenings. The views are sensational of Waikawa Bay .Enjoy the large lower deck and outside table - great spot for a sunset bevy and taking a swim from. Totally pet friendly. Tea, coffee and milk are supplied. Use of a double kayak and life jackets available to guests.
