Exceptional river views

n the heart of the Loire Valley, along the Thouet River: a 700 square foot converted barn (newly renovated) with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The house is ideally-situated in the heart of the Anjou wine region, a few miles from Saumur (well-known for it's castle and the French National Horse-Riding School, ''Le Cadre Noir'', wine growers, and troglodytes sites). Also nearby: important castles in Angers, Chinon, Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé, as well as Europe's largest monastic center, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, which features an excellent music and cultural program. Other worthwhile day trips include the exquisite Loire Valley castles, such as: Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, Azay le Rideau, etc. The house, which is about 187 miles from Paris (300 km), or about 2 hours by TGV, can accomodate two couples with children (sleeps six altogether). The appartement includes : an entrance hall, a large sitting and dining room with a small equiped kitchen, one bedroom, a bathroom, and a small bedroom on a mezzanine level.

"La petite Maison" a lovely 2 bed/bath home

Idyllic countryside stay, located between the towns of Bressuire, Thouars, Cholet & Saumur. Close to several theme parks (please see guide book). Located a few minutes from lake Hautibus. Village amenities include a boulangerie 2 mins from door, pharmacy, small supermarket and village bar, weekly market in square on Thursdays. **please note there are only 2 double beds at house** We supply all bed linen, towels, tea towels and cleaning materials for your stay along with a welcome pack.

Pleasant house from the 1930s, completely restored in 2020. Ideally located, very close to Place Rabelais and 10 minutes from Les Prébendes. Transportation, super-market and bakery close by. On the 1st floor, spacious living room, fully furnished kitchen, 1 bedroom with double bed, bathroom. On the 2nd floor, 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds + baby bed, and a beautiful bathroom. 2 courtyards, ideal for breakfast or for parking bicycles. Autonomous arrival.

Very nice 145 m2 house completely renovated on one level with its 400 m2 enclosed courtyard in the troglodyte village of Rochemenier. It consists of an equipped kitchen overlooking the living room and 40 m2 living room with large bay windows.
