The house is very easy reachable via public transportation; the post-van is 5 minutes to go, with direct connection to St. Gallen (with an overall travel time of 30 minutes). The apartment itself is in the basement of an old Stickerhaus, that is an embroiderer house where once the famous embroidery of the region have been manufactured. We guarantee leisurely days in an unconventional place.

Idyllic Appenzell Vacation Home with Garden

Our Hüsli is located in the middle of nature, quiet and on the Alpstein-Wanderweg In the garden there is a cozy sitting lounge, a large fireplace and the garden shower for cooling off. The magnificent views and the alpine feeling can be enjoyed particularly well from the Bänkli in the forecourt. Inside it is nice and homely, with tiled stove and wood-burning stove, cozy living room and spacious dining table. Everything is fully furnished and ready for guests :)

In our detached house we rent our modern studio. The studio is located on the 1st sock, has its own entrance and is completely separate from our living area, except for the shared staircase. We attach great importance to sustainability and heat our home with geothermal energy and the electricity we generate with our PV system. Private bedroom in Souterrain (semi-basement) with private bathroom. No kitchen! We do not offer cooking facilities, nor do we install temporary kitchens, it is not possible to prepare food in the room. Only the laundry room is shared. Perfect location. Less than 100m away from: Train station, bus stop, Fachhochschule, Lokremise (cultural center), Cafeteria Gleis 8, shopping facilities, Cityparking Parkhaus.

This pretty one-bedroom apartment is centrally located on the ground floor with separate entrance, small seating area and private kitchen. It is otherwise used as a practice room. The bathroom can be reached at a distance of 1 ½ meters over the hallway. It is for exclusive use. I speak German, English, French and Spanish. There's something I can communicate in Italian.
