If you like to cook, you'll enjoy the fully stocked housewares and high end kitchen appliances. The private cottage is all yours. You have direct private 24/7 access to the cottage through the driveway gate. The back yard garden, patio, fire pit and jacuzzi are shared. I enjoy meeting and talking to my guests, providing advice and recommendations (if requested) about local highlights and places to explore in the nearby nature (parks, hiking trails, great beach locations). I enjoy back yard BBQs with guests, friends and neighbors. This lovely cottage is walking distance from the nightlife, restaurants, and bars of both downtown Redwood City and downtown San Carlos. There's a beautiful park at the end of the block. Plus, it's a convenient commute for Silicon Valley. Street parking is easy in this residential neighborhood. 15 minute walk to the Redwood City Caltrain station. Due to the great location close to downtown and Caltrain, you WILL hear trains passing through and some vehicle traffic from the main road nearby. For your safety and security, external security cameras cover all external access points to the cottage, automatically recording any motion activity day or night, providing live remote monitoring and alerts. This cottage is a fantastic location for visitors and family looking for AirBnB lodging near Stanford University and other schools, colleges and universities on the SF Peninsula and Silicon Valley! Prepare to be amazed by art collected from all over the world. Even the garden has an array of sculptures, not to mention fragrant herbs and fruit trees. As well as being sustainably designed, this home also has an industrial chic vibe. All beds feature quality linens that are fair trade procured. A very unique home with high ceilings and an industrial New York artist loft feeling. Lots of skylights and windows. Private courtyard with outdoor space to dine, barbecue, read a book, or hang out. Home and garden is full of art and sculptures. Restaurant style kitchen full of cookbooks. Guests have a private courtyard with a swing chair, outdoor furniture, and fruit trees. The home is situated on a 1/2 acre lot with a Mediterranean style garden with art and sculptures on display. Guests can help themselves to whatever fruit is in season (over 70 fruit trees in the garden, berries, and herbs). I am available and nearby for any questions. The Gardeners (Ernesto Martinez and assistant Benedicto) come every Wednesday. Friendly neighbors. 3 blocks to Palo Alto Nature Preserve estuary w/ walking, jogging, & biking trails. 2 blocks to large shopping center (Starbucks, Jamba J, Baskin R, Togo's, PandaX, Wingstop, McD's, 🌮 🔔, Supermarket w/ Mex restaurant, Target w/ Grocery & PHARMACY, Nordstom, IKEA, TESLA supercharge station). The creek house is on a beautiful tree lined street, walking distance to downtown San Carlos. The house is a spacious one bedroom cottage with designer finishes and gorgeous vaulted ceilings. You will be surrounded by mature redwoods on the peaceful balcony and one with nature at the fire pit overlooking a year round creek. Amenities include a full sized kitchen, comfortable workspace, washer/dryer, fast WiFi, cable TV and a gas fireplace. We live in the main house on the property.
