We live in rural, Appalachian Ohio on 20 acres. We have fields, woods and a pond for exploring. Our place is about 15 minutes from town; shopping, grocery and restaurants. We are 20-30 minutes from the Hocking Hills State Parks, canoeing, hiking, etc. The one-bedroom apartment in the basement of our house can host up to 4 people and features a walkout with a hot tub and a porch swing. The Cut In The Hill Chalets is a relatively unknown gem in the Ross, Hocking, Jackson and Vinton County region. The majestic, mature forest make it a perfect week long or weekend getaway! Our chalet are surrounded by hundreds of acres of tall hardwood trees, hills and valleys. Very secluded!! Wellston & Jackson Ohio are the closest towns. The Ohio University Convocation Center is hiking distance, as is the University and downtown Athens. FREE WIFI and FREE parking for up to 4 cars. McDonalds, and other fast food is very close by, as is a hardware store. The house is on the Athens transit route and we have Uber and Lyft. The house is a historic Sears kit house built in 1939 and recently extensively remodeled. We have a full kitchen and a washer and dryer for for your use only.

Great for family vacations and visitors, we have everything ready, just enjoy your time in Marietta. In a 5-minute drive, you can get to Lookout Point, where you can have an amazing panoramic view of Marietta, Lookout Park has a basketball and tennis court, and also a playground for kids.
