Located in the countryside of the central North Island in beautiful Te Miro, 12 minutes from Cambridge. A peaceful location to relax and unwind with incredible views across the Waikato & stunning sunsets. 30 mins to Hobbiton. Our 2 bedroom suite includes lounge/dining room, luxury bathroom and a hot tub/jacuzzi. The suite, with private entrance, is attached to one end of - but entirely private from the owners’ residence. Unfortunately we’re unable to accept bookings with children under 13 yrs

Wabi Sabi Cottage

This peaceful location is a 2 min walk to Waikato River trails. We are on the reserve so you get a beautiful view over the domain to Maungatautari Mountain. The Rhubarb Cafe is a few minutes walk. Arapuni Suspension Bridge is in front of the property and you can hear the river from the deck. Jones Landing,Lake Karapiro, Lake Arapuni, Maungatautari are all a short drive. No kitchen but we do offer a toaster, microwave, jug, coffee & tea. Ask about arranged meals if you are biking. No lounge.

The Hilly House, Private Boutique Accommodation

The Hilly House is a hillside property in the heart of the Whitehall district, surrounded by beautiful rural views. Very private. Outdoor baths for relaxing in peace, star gazing with a glass of wine or two. Our friendly and inquisitive llamas will come over to greet you, you can fine their pellets inside the house. There are many lovely walks nearby. Blue Springs in Putaruru, 40 mins. Sanctuary Mt Maungatautari, 35 mins and 10 mins from Lake Karapiro and Cambridge with amazing eateries.

Relax and unwind in our intimate studio by Lake Karapiro. Treetops studio is situated in a peaceful garden setting with lovely views over the treetops above Lake Karapiro. At the end of the drive(500m) is the Karapiro domain - enjoy a short walk to have a coffee at the Podium cafe or cycle/walk the Te Awa cycleway. We are 20mins from Hamilton airport and a great location to access local tourist attractions: Cambridge 10mins, Hobbiton 30mins, Rotorua 1hour, Waitomo caves 1 hour.

Watershed - Lake Karapiro

Our house has an attached guest suite and is located two minutes walk from the lake and Don Rowlands centre, licenced Podium Cafe, boat ramp . You cannot get closer. We are 20 mins from Hobbiton, 25 mins to world famous Hamilton Gardens, 55 mins to Rotorua, and 40 min to Waitomo caves. A great 2-3 day round trip. The unit has two bedrooms with ensuites, its own lounge area and kitchenette . Room 1 has a King size bed and Room 2 two king singles. There is also a double sofabed.

My comfortable home overlooks Lake Karapiro. It has superb, uninterrupted, water, mountain and country views from the deck and several rooms. Sunsets can be amazing and you can see it all while relaxing in the outdoor bath. The home is very conveniently positioned to many activities and places of interest eg. Karapiro Lake View is an 8 year old modern 4 bedroom home overlooking the lake and the international Rowing course. Boat ramp and swimming 200 m away at the end of the street, and the rowing course and cafe are 5 minutes walk just the other side of the Karapiro dam. 2 canoes, paddles and lifejackets, sunny outdoor decks, BBQ and fantastic views make this a special place to relax. Also a concept 2 rowing machine, and 2 bicycles.
