Welcome to the 100 acre wood. Actually it’s a 104 acres but we aren’t counting. =) We invite you to our guest suite on the lower level of our home. You will have dedicated parking, your own private entrance, and access to hiking trails. High Speed Fiber optic internet makes connection a breeze, but we hope you won't be doing too much work. Catalina Hot Tub placed perfectly to face the view. This magical hobby farm is perched at 2,951 ft elevation and faces South for warm sun exposure.

Tranquil cozy farm cottage

Hurricane update: We are very fortunate not to have sustained any damage. The pictures give an accurate depiction of the area. We have electricity, water, internet and cell service. Set in a pretty garden, 75 yards from the road, it enjoys access to 50 acres and private walks. Enjoy birdsong and wildlife while relaxing on the deck. The fire pit area is for exclusive use of the cottage. I have another Airbnb called Tranquil private farm home (https://www.airbnb.com/slink/3AfuuYvp).

Romantic Yurt, Hot Tub, Farm & Tropical Greenhouse

THE RE-OPENING OF OUR YURT IS HERE! Our beautiful Yurt is re-opening after a 6-week hiatus from the hurricane. Our farm did not sustain any damage, but we took time out to support our community and house someone who had lost their home in the flooding. Western North Carolina is slowly opening back up to visitors and so are we. Tourism is the bread and butter of this area, supporting restaurants, shops and artisans. Those that are able are opening and would love your support.

"Au Chalet", your own slice of Switzerland nestled in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains of NC is 5 minutes from the Wolf Ridge Ski Resort; provides walking access to the Appalachian Trail and is 40 minutes from downtown Asheville. A cozy chalet you will not want to leave but should you choose to, tennis, pickle ball, trout fishing, a swimming pool and fitness center are all amenities included in your stay. There is NO Air Conditioning in this unit.
