Stunning Ocean View Designer Holiday Home

The wonderful 4bd, 2ba farm-house is situated on the quieter North side of Mahia. The one acre House site offers un-obstructed panoramic Pacific Ocean views that over-look the Tokaroa Reef and beautiful white sand cove beaches ideal for bathing and swimming. The house is tastefully decorated by the furniture design owners based in Los Angeles, many of the pieces collected from their travels. If you are wanting to get away from it all and create a memorable holiday this is the ideal retreat.

A Cabin in the Country

Only a 10 minute drive from town & surrounded by nature with an evergreen subtropical outlook you won't want to leave this charming one of a kind place. With tui, kereru & Molly morepork at your doorstep relaxing on the deck is a beautiful experience. Cosy & comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. A light breakfast is provided. If you are looking for a no frills, simple & authentic 'cabin in the country' stay that's exactly what this is. I look forward to meeting you. :)

Cormorants Cove Beach House.

Cormorants Cove has recently had a complete refresh throughout, with a new kitchen and bathroom. Mahia is on the undiscovered east coast of the North Island of New Zealand. Cormorants Cove is sitting on the top of a cliff with unimpeded views of Gisborne and surrounding beaches. Some of the best surf breaks are within 5 minutes drive and family friendly swimming beaches are just as close. This is the place to come to do absolutely nothing, but relax and soak up the sun and the views.

Cosy beach escape

🌟PRICE CURRENTLY DROPPED 🌟 🛁🛁🛁🛁🛁🛁🛁🛁🛁🛁🛁🛁 due to our bathroom currently being redecorated. It is all still completely functional- just a bit sparse on the walls. UNFORTUNATELY our new fireplace is waiting to be inspected so cannot be used. Heaters are available instead until this happens. Relax and unwind in our quiet, cosy hideaway in Mahia. Central to everything, we are right on the doorstep of Mokotahi, Taylors Bay, the boat ramp and coffee and food caravans.

Blue Bay Mahia, Beachfront Bliss

Relax and enjoy uninterrupted seaviews from our comfortable beachfront Bach. The living, dining and two main bedrooms all have views across bay. With decks on both northern and southern sides you can enjoy outdoor dining most days. Opoutama beach is a lovely sandy beach; great for young children & only a short walk away through the reserve. The Opoutama store is a handy 10min walk away. Minimum 3 night stay over long weekends. Linen can be arranged for an extra charge.

Very spacious holiday home with uninterrupted breathtaking views. This stunning home captures fabulous morning sunrises and views over to Gisborne and the east coast. Plenty of extra space in the 2nd house for those larger group bookings. Large lawn area fit for parking cars and boats. More lawn space for running around, outdoor games and barbecues. You are surrounded by Swimming, Surfing, fishing, diving spots and nice walks along the beach right at your doorstep!

Mahia Heights Beach Views

Our home is on an elevated site, with lovely views down to the beach and is just a short walk to the sand. The guest suite is private and quiet and is situated at one end of the house, with its own entrance for guests to come and go as they please. Enjoy waking to the sound of the waves and the local bird life. Have breakfast on the deck while taking in the views. The bedroom has a queen bed and guests have their own bathroom and lounge, and private deck area.

Located 1 minute from the beach this cosy little cabin is perfect for your weekend away. Mahia Beach, Taylor’s Bay, the dairy, fishing club, Seaside Markets and Sunset Point Tavern are all within walking distance. The cabin has a little kitchen with a fridge, cooktop and microwave. There is also a BBQ located outside. Around the back is your own little bathroom with a shower and toilet. Come and check out all the beautiful Mahia Beach has to offer.

This lovely Beach House is perfect for a family looking for a spacious, centrally located, holiday home. The property has a modern, fully equipped kitchen, which opens onto a large deck and fully fenced big back yard. Two lounges, on separate levels means there is ample space for people to either be involved, or slip away and relax with a book. Located just a 3 minute walk from the Beach, Boat Ramp, Bar & Bistro and Local Store.

Sanctuary Lodge - Cabin 1

Get away from it all and re-energise yourselves. Mahia offers safe swimming, fishing and walks. The cabin is located in private bush setting, overlooking Mahia Peninsula and two bays. Cabin 1 can sleep a couple in a queen bed and one child under 7. It has recently been renovated, we are aiming for a comfortable, relaxing, and cosy feeling. We do offer reduced rates for more than one night's stay, please ask for prices.

Classic kiwi beach front bach in Mahanga

Class kiwi bach situated right across the road from one of east coast's best surfing breaks. An awesome place to chill on the deck or couch and watch the surfers, or to get out there yourself. This fully fenced bach has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is ideal for families. Across the road the 8km golden sand beach has a rocky area with a stream running through it, great for crab hunting, shell collecting and dam building.
