Gorgeous home, private parking and stunning views

Bay View Cottage is a fabulous ENTIRE Ulverston home extremely well suited for a romantic escape for two people or for working in the area, or working at home, great WiFi. Very peaceful here no road noise lots of bird song, cosy up and enjoy the panoramic view. Very close to town centre it has own entrance with a key safe, so arrival time can be totally flexible, and there is private parking. We use a Professional cleaning service to ensure the place sparkles. Much better than a hotel room!

Hut in the Sheep Wash

Beautiful shepherd's hut set in a private, peaceful riverside field, surrounded by fields and woodland. Sleeps 2 in a double bed and is self-contained with fully equipped kitchen (2 gas hobs and grill) and small bathroom with shower and eco loo. A wood burner keeps it very cosy in winter. Lights are powered by a solar panel. Bedding and towels provided, also tea, coffee etc and provisions for breakfast. A perfect place in the Lake District for a romantic break or getaway from modern life!

A well appointed holiday home in an elevated position, with fabulous views, exclusively for welcoming families and walking groups, luxuriously appointed with plenty of additional attention to smaller details in order to make guests feel welcome, comfortably catered for, and extra special. A great base to get away from it all, relax completely, and yet in close proximity to Ulverston, western lakes and also central lakes - Windermere is about 45 minutes drive away. Built in 2012, our slate and stone camping barns boast 6 single beds on the first floor. The ground floor space includes a dining area, kitchen area which includes a microwave, kettle, toaster, small fridge and a single electric hot plate. and a ground floor wet room. Bedding, towels, cutlery, crockery are all provided. Outside are stunning views, a picnic area and public footpaths through the farm. Breakfast is not provided can be requested at an additional cost.

Our brand new Shepherds Hut (18ft x 8ft) is situated in the small village of Newland, 2 miles from the market town of Ulverston and 15 min drive to Lake Windermere. It is situated in a quiet, private area on the edge of a woodland with a picnic area and separate seating area around a fire pit. The hut has a double bed and sofa bed (sofa bed adequate for 1 adult or 2 small children). There is also a day room available to guests until 8.00pm at no further cost.

This log cabin is set in lovely gardens and is the perfect place to get away from it all. Lots of things to do in the surrounding area with Coniston Water only a few miles away. Great walks nearby, the nearest big fells are the Coniston mountains which can be seen from the garden. If you prefer low level walks, there are spectacular views walking round the shores of Coniston Water. There is a nice local pub that serves good food within walking distance.
