LAKE AND MOUNTAIN...B&B AL POZZO

Our B&B “Al Pozzo” is part of an old farmhouse restored and refurbished. It is situated right on the path leading to the “Basilica di S. Pietro Al Monte” (http:/www.amicidisanpietro.it), a monument considered to be a jewel of Romanesque art (X-XI century). And further on along the path are our wonderful montains with its Monte Cornizzolo, a peak famous for paragliding (www.cornizzolo.com). Is is a very short distance from the cliffs, where climbing enthusiasts will enjoy various levels of difficulties in this adventurous sport. There are easy links to che cities of Milan, Como, Bergamo, to the picturesque towns of Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio and to Switzerland. And just 4 Km from “Al Pozzo” you can visit the beautiful historical city of Lecco, on Lake Como, with its amazing views famously described in the novel “The Betrothed” by A. Manzoni. A bit about us: we are a family made up of a young couple, Barbara and Beppe, and two children, Ale and Franci, lovers of mountains and nature. We grow our own organic vegetables, we have two dogs and even a stable with twenty odd goats which help us produce a high-quality homemade cheese! You will be able to taste it at breakfast or it you choose to dine comfortably at our typical restaurant part of the farmhouse structure- We are looking forward to your visit!

Nestled in the woods at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level (hill above Castelveccana) with beautiful lake views. 5 KM. from the beaches , 80 km. From Milan, 30 km. From Varese, 45 km. from MALPENSA AIRPORT. Suitable for fitness and mental relaxation. The curved and paved mountain road that leads to our house is a 10-minute drive. We're animal lovers.

The B&B, a villa surrounded by greenery, is located in one of the most exclusive residential areas of the city. You will have 4 bedrooms for a total of 10 beds, 3 bathrooms, living room and terrace. Garden and kitchen are shared with the Host. Breakfast is included and we prepare it from 7.30 to 9.30 or in the garden or kitchen. The kitchen is allowed but must be left clean and tidy. Parking for two cars is in front of the house.
