Country House Close To The Beach & DE Turf!

Our farm is located approximately 20 minutes north of Lewes, Rehoboth, & Dewey Beaches in coastal Delaware. We are also approximately 10 miles south of DE Turf. Our farm consists of over 50 acres of field and woods with beautiful views of Cedar Creek. Over 40 acres of the farm is planted in wild grasses to attract birds, deer, foxes, turkeys, and dozens of other animals! It’s the perfect spot for bird watching. We offer a relaxing get away from the nearby cities, while still being close to the action at the beach! We are 16 miles from the Cape May Lewes Ferry, connecting Cape May, New Jersey to Lewes, Delaware. We are also 30 minutes from Dover Downs Casino & Racetrack and Dover International Speedway. We are located on Rt. 1, which is a straight shot to all of the beaches or spend lazy afternoons and evenings walking around the farm or lounging by our fish pond and fountain! We have two upstairs bedrooms: one double and one queen. This listing is for the QUEEN BEDROOM, which is the larger of the two bedrooms. There is a shared bathroom with bath/shower. (see pictures) We have WiFi access in both rooms and throughout house. There are TVs in both our family room and sunroom for use by everyone. We have a great sunroom with a fireplace that's perfect for relaxing and reading a book. Hello traveler, I am happy to offer this clean, neat and uncluttered room. The bed is a queen size and almost new as I bought it for AIR in June. My reviews by quests who stayed in this room have been very complimentary. NASCAR fans will find my location very convenient. If you want to travel to the beach it will be an hour drive on a easy highway. To Washington D.C and to Philadelphia, only 1.5 hour drive on excellent roads. Dover has historic sites to visit. Shared full bath plus a powder room

The Garden Room - Towers Bed & Breakfast

The Garden Room is located on the second floor and overlooks the garden. It has a queen size bed, a large window seat and a sitting area with comfortable swivel chairs. The bathroom has been recently renovated adding the luxury of modern facilities but keeping the charm of a Victorian bathroom. While the bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom and is private, it is accessed via the hall. A TV on a stand is tucked away in the closet and can be easily positioned to view your favorites on Netflix.

Iona is located close to DE Turf and the Delaware beaches. The Inn looks out over Cedar Creek, a pristine estuary leading to Delaware Bay. This vista provides many stunning sunrises and sunsets. Since Iona is a working farm, the front of the house looks out over the barn, pastures, and fields. The front porch and second-floor balcony provide perfect viewing to enjoy the early morning scenery with your first cup of coffee and breakfast provided to all guests. Iona is a non-smoking property.

Beautiful home with 1 BR full bath suite available on second floor, in small residential neighborhood. Only three streets in this neighborhood! Great deck, patio with a patio swing to use at your leisure. Maybe enjoy a fresh cup of coffee out on the deck?! Enjoy the tranquility of the lazy front porch, or take your morning coffee in the rose garden. Bring a kite to fly in the field, or play a game of croquet. Find a good selection of hot beverages anytime. This is a small retired farm located 1/4 mile from Hwy 1, convenient to downtown, beaches, Sports Complex, Dover AFB, and casinos. Three bedrooms share a bath with jetted tub and and a powder room downstairs. We have a Poodle and a cat. We are not suitable for animals or children.
