Close to National and State Parks, Skiing, Hiking, Camping, Watauga Lake, Boone and Blowing Rock, NC; Damascus and Abingdon, VA . We are centrally located to major attractions but be careful if sightseeing, adventure, or family fun is on your agenda. Once you are here, you might not want to leave. This is a modern yet homey space. Downstairs has a gourmet kitchen. Gas stove top, double ovens and dishwasher and concrete counters. There is a half bath on lower level. Beautiful yard with decks and plenty of seating. Upstairs is a big open loft space. Has 3 full size beds. Great for a couple, a family or a group of friends. Has an amazing ensuite bathroom with a huge shower with a giant rain head. Has 2 decks overlooking the beautiful yard with plenty of seating A place to remember.

Our Watauga Lake front home is a perfect vacation getaway, located at the end of a point, the large deep water dock is ideal for year round boating and water sports. Conveniently located, we are within the quaint town of Butler and close to restaurants, small country stores and Cove Ridge Marina. Although Watauga Lake is our main attraction, we are near a number of waterfalls, hiking trails, mountain biking trails and the shopping areas surrounding the Tri-Cities and Boone, NC.

Scott Hill Cabin #2

This is our second cabin built by hand. It has a kitchen with a stove, mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. It also has basic cooking necessities. The cabin has a full size bed. The restroom has a sink and stand up shower. We will provide towels and linens. Despite the listing saying 2 beds, it is in fact, 1 double bed. Sorry for the listing mistake. We allow pets, but ask for prior knowledge. We are just minutes from 2 separate trailheads to the Appalachian Trail.

A beautiful place for the outdoor lover or App State Mountaineer fan, come fall asleep to the sounds of a creek running past the house. Secluded & private, our mountain retreat is just a short walk to Elk Knob State Park & only ~15 minutes from downtown Boone. It's accessible year-round, though you may need all-wheel/4-wheel drive during the winter months if there is snow or freezing weather. The road is plowed, but some parts are steep & can be slippery.

Your first-floor suite has a Tennessee bedroom, one bath, and another bedroom off the living room separated by privacy curtains. Enjoy a fireplace, a dining room, and three private exterior entries. You also have a large patio with a fire pit, grill, and 3-person hot tub! You also may use the 7-foot square hot tub on the hangar patio if you like. Hike the TN/NC line on our ridge. Hike into the gorge for rock climbing, swimming, and flumes.
