The "chicken house"

The chicken house is located in the middle of the beautiful permagar, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhupten. Gabi and Guido live here their dream of independence and want to expand the farm in a sustainable and tedious way. An extensive hiking network, cycle paths and thermal baths invite you to get to know our area. Illmensee is a very good starting point for attractive leisure activities, such as the lake park with football golf golf and water skiing, which can be reached in 15 minutes. The Ravensburger Spieleland can be reached in about 30 minutes.

Experience the Pfrunger Ried on many hiking and biking trails right in front of the treehouse staircase, you will also discover numerous excursions in the immediate vicinity. Our accommodation is a large, well equipped attic apartment. In addition to a cozy bedroom there is a living and dining room with a sofa bed for 2 people, a reading corner, a modern bathroom and a kitchen. From the bedroom you have a great view of the Altshausen Castle. The location is central (div. Shops, bakeries and restaurants are a 5-minute walk away) and yet quietly located. The garden can also be used. A beautiful swimming lake is a 10-minute walk away.
