Welcome to Reel-Axe-Inn cottage on 525 acre all sports Union Lake. Our cottage is small but functional! We are about 10 min. from Union City & Athens, 25 min from Coldwater. During summer season you can bring a boat or jet ski's to put in at the public dock and enjoy our floating raft. Our dock/seawall area is a great fishing location (bring your own fishing gear), we have 2 kayaks for you to enjoy, fire pit, lots of outdoor seating in both sun and shade. Our cozy, yet spacious cottage has everything for a relaxing getaway - lots of individual areas to retreat to and loads of lounging/seating space for groups to connect inside and out. There are board games, three large TVs with Netflix and cable, a firepit, grill, fully stocked kitchen, etc. Outdoor activities nearby: mountain biking, road biking, running on paved paths directly in front of the house, hiking and more!. This house is 3k sq ft (we host a 4k sq ft. space nearby, "Haven Woods").

The Oriole cottage is part of historic Bird Center Resort that has been catering to vacationers for 100 years and was fully renovated in 2005. This cozy cottage has all of the amenities for a great getaway that will keep you coming back. The studio space is small, but has everything you need with a kitchenette, queen size bed,TV and cable. Great outdoor Screened in porch and chairs on the deck with a partial view of Lake Kalamazoo, outdoor hot tub (open all year around) and a gas grill.
