"De Gulle pracht" Vacation home, Friesland

Our cozy holiday home was originally an old stable that we (Caroline and Jan) converted together, full of love and respect for the old details and materials, into this "Gulle Pracht". Through a private driveway with parking you reach the terrace with the spacious garden, a lawn with surrounding tall trees, where you can indulge. Through the two opening doors you enter the bright and cozy living room with the white old beams and a fully equipped open kitchen. Wireless internet, TV and DVD are available. The removed ceiling in the living room lets in beautiful light from the skylights and gives you a view of the roof construction with the old round teachers. The beds can be found on top of the two vides. The comfortable double bed is accessed by an open staircase. The other loft, where a third or fourth bed can be realized, can only be reached by flexible guests via a ladder. For small children it is not suitable there because of the danger of falling, larger children find it exciting to sleep there. Please note, the two vides share the same large open space. Beneath the old beams you can enjoy a peaceful sleep, where only the sound of noisy trees, whistling birds or your wonderfully snoring bedfellow will be heard. The room is heated CV, but also only the wood-burning stove can comfortably heat the cottage. You will get enough wood from us at your disposal to light a cosy fire. An old barn door in the living room leads into the bathroom with beamed ceiling and underfloor heating. The bathroom has a good shower, double sink and toilet. With its inlaid mosaics and all kinds of funny and old details, this space is also a pleasure for the eye. There are two bikes available for beautiful trips in the wide area (Harlingen, Franeker Bolsward). We may want to drop you off in Harlingen for a crossing to Terschelling. You can leave the car in our yard for a while. We ourselves live in the farm that is on the same yard. We are available for help, information and advice for fun trips in our beautiful Friesland. Your cottage and our farmhouse are separated by our garden and the large old barn (with pool table), so we both have our own space and privacy. Kimswerd , located on the eleven city route, is a small, quiet and beautiful village where our Frisian hero " de Grutte Pier" was born and lived. He still watches over us, in petrified form, at the beginning of our street, next to the centuries-old Church, which is certainly worth seeing. You can do your shopping in the Harlingen, the supermarket is fifteen minutes away by bike. The old harbour of Harlingen is 10 km away from our cottage. Kimswerd is located just above the dam. From there follow signs N31 Harlingen/ Leeuwarden/Zurich and take the first exit Kimswerd, at the roundabout 1st right, at the next roundabout again 1st right, at the crossing straight on over the bridge and directly first street left (Jan Timmerstraat). At the beginning of this street, next to the church, stands the statue of the Grutte Pier. You live in the farm behind the church, Jan timmerstraat 6, first wide gravel path on the right. -For small children, sleeping on the meadow without a fence is not suitable due to the risk of falling. For big children it is fun, the loft is accessible by a ladder. Please note, it is above 1 large open space without privacy.

Wonderful place to relax in Workum

This lovely apartment, located on the second floor, has a beautiful view over the countryside, is directly on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway you will reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box-spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with next to it the spacious bathroom. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

Special B&B "The Seventh Life".

Welcome to our old farmhouse, part of which has been transformed into an atmospheric B&B. Particularly decorated with lots of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have your own private entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and You Tube. A FULL BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The b and b is located separately and closed off from main house. Private entrance, a private bedroom and a private bathroom. There is one b and one b space.

Fietsen, varen & genieten in het mooie rustige dorpje Goënga aan de rand van het gezellige bruisende Sneek en op 5 minuutjes afstand van recreatiegebied de Potten aan het water! Een sfeervol huisje van alle gemakken voorzien! Zowel met auto, fiets, bootje of kano ligt het mooi centraal gelegen om Friesland kunt ontdekken! Op de foto's zie je leuke dingen om bij te boeken. Sportief in de kano, plezier op de tandem of ontspannen, ervaren en vooral voelen hoe mooi paarden ons spiegelen.

Rural stay on Frisian Elfstedenroute

Op loopafstand van het centrum van Bolsward, aan de Workumertrekvaart, de originele Friese Elfstedenroute, ligt onze landelijk gelegen boerderij. Wij bieden u in deze landelijke en waterrijke omgeving een royale kamer aan, die voorzien is van een groot tweepersoonsbed, (2x0.90), tv/zit-hoek en een geheel nieuwe badkamer met jacuzzi. Extra slaapgelegenheid is mogelijk. Deze nieuwe ruimte hebben wij sinds kort gerealiseerd in onze voormalige koeienstal, die grenst aan onze privéwoning.

In the old core of Hindeloopen is a fisherman's cottage (34m2) that has been converted into a comfortable studio that is equipped with many comforts. The studio has a king size bed, a kitchenette, a spacious bathroom and plenty of storage space. Parking is available at the cottage itself, as long as you have a small car. Otherwise, we would like to refer you to the free and spacious parking space at the port. You can store your bicycles in the garden that comes with the guest house.
