Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Zwiethouse is located on Klein Landgoed (1), next to Soestdijk Palace and Drakensteyn. From the forest house (located in privacy), beautiful views into the nature! Many birds, also owls, squirrels and you can see regularly deer! Walk/bike (for rent) through the Baarn woods, light a fire at Zwiethouse, to the Soesterduinen, eat pancakes in Lage Vuursche, by bike boat to Spakenburg or shopping in Amsterdam, Amersfoort or Utrecht. Baarnse woods bath and mini golf within walking distance.

In the picturesque Nigtevecht, yet close to Amsterdam, the uniquely located holiday home is located on the wide river/ lake de Vecht. The chalet is located on a large detached plot, directly on the water with an unobstructed view of the lands. With private parking. A lovely place for the peace seeker. But also the opportunity to enjoy entertainment in the area. Fishing on the jetty or swimming in the clean water of the Vecht, it's all possible here. A porch is built on the chalet.

Around the corner you walk into the forest and also you can find within a walking distance shops and restaurants. Beautiful Airbnb in rural surroundings in the Veluwe. This lovely private cottage is next to the owner's home. So you have the kingdom for yourself. There is room for two adults and there is a sofa bed in the living room. Relax by the fireplace, listen to the birds and the noisy trees. In the picturesque Voorthuizen there is plenty to do, so besides tranquility there is plenty of entertainment to be found in the area.
