This small home lives big with living, dining and kitchen on the first floor, and 2 beds and 1 bath upstairs. Very tall people are destined to bonk their heads in an upstairs room, but will likely grin and relish the charm of this historic property. Unique custom built new home constructed purposefully for Airbnb quests. This house offers a distinctive design with a large loft bedroom and a fully tiled bathroom. The loft overlooks the downstairs living area which has an open living room, dinning area, and kitchen. The second bedroom and bath are located on the first floor. Granite, slate, and soapstone accentuate the countertops, vanities, and floors. You will also see plenty of natural pine, hickory, and local cedar throughout the house.

Rustic, Sunny, Little Red Cottage in the Woods

Just outside of New Paltz, the cottage is 400 square feet, plus loft area, in addition to a 120-square-foot (winterized) screened-in porch with bistro table and additional relaxation spots. The main room hosts a double-size, comfortable futon couch, a dining table for four or more, a fully equipped kitchen providing all the basic amenities. The loft (up a ladder) hosts a super-comfy queen-sized bed. There is a small stone patio with an outdoor dining table with umbrella and a barbeque grill.

The building boats a rich history: the main floor of the building served as a speakeasy during Prohibition. Newly built apartment steps from Mohonk preserve.

Nestled amongst the trees below Bonticou Crag this is a great base camp for climbing, hiking and biking. Five minutes from New Paltz; I do recommend having a car to access the area. Shared yard and fire pit right outside. My family and I live in the main part of the house. The outside area and house are still under construction, I’m working on it but its not put together yet. The apartment and inside area are clean and newly built with their own mini split and air circulation.

Victorian Haven is located near the Shawangunk Mountains that extends for over 20 miles and reaches 2,200 feet in height at Sam's point, the highest elevation on the ridge. In addition, the Wallkill River provides unspoiled and picturesque spots for hiking, fishing and/or picnics. Gardiner has a beautiful rail trail that follows the path of the 1860's railroad and provides a great opportunity to hike, bike or ski.
