Our recently renovated hilltop stone cottage (30 m2 on 2 floors) is located just outside Vittorio Veneto, in the Prosecco Hills Unesco site. This warm and homely nest boasts magnificent views stretching out towards the site's unique hogback hills. It offers typical Italian country living and, at just 10 minute's drive from the town centre, lakes and hiking/cycling trails is ideally situated. It's easily accessible from the highway that (unfortunately) can be seen and heard in the valley below.

Cottage in the Prosecco hills

The cottage is made up of an independent unit set in the Prosecco DOCG vineyards which, together with the chestnut woods, cover the surrounding hills. From here, lulled by the sound of the wind and the chirping of birds, guests can view the village of Rolle, with its bells that have traditionally cadenced the work in the fields, the surrounding hills and Mount Cesen. The small, old house was once the residence and workshop of artisans who made the famous local "olle", namely earthenware pots.

Apartment in Susegana

Nice apartment with air conditioning, washing machine and some outside space. 100 metres from a bus stop and a shop selling fresh fruit and vegetables and everyday groceries. If you are interested in local food and wines, we can give you some advice on nearby shops and farms. Larger supermarket open 7/7 less than 10 mins away (on foot). The town's castle (on the Prosecco Hills) is a 20 mins walk away. We live close by, we speak Italian but out sons help us welcome foreign guests.

La Piccola Latteria is a completely self-contained building. It has a small living room, kitchenette with 2 plates, fridge and microwave, an en-suite bathroom and on the upper floor a bedroom with two single beds. You can add a third bed upon request. It has independent heating, hot water and all kitchen tools. It was a small dairy farm from the 18th century to 30 years ago. If the cottage is occupied, look at similar listings from the same Host.
