Lovely one-bedroom cottage in Cumbria, located in Melmerby within the beautiful Eden Valley and 20 minutes from the Lake District. The property is a barn conversion with oak beams. The 16 century cottage has been in my husbands family since Elizabethan times . It has a private south facing garden .Beautifully furnished with antique furniture It’s a truly magical little cottage and feels like you have stepped back in time . A deep bath . Log burning stove . Period furniture . What’s not to like. Situated just outside Hawes a 5 minute walk ! Or walk over the field in less time . River walks from the door step . And if you’re lucky you might see the red squirrel’s .

Located on the village square Bear Cottage is in the heart of Ingleton, with cosy open plan living downstairs, 1 double bedroom, tiled bathroom with underfloor heating and heated towel rail. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, washing machine, toaster etc, the lounge area has a smart tv with Netflix, Amazon Prime, fast wifi, smart speaker.
