With the beach so close, water activities like fishing, squiding, kayaking, snorkelling and swimming are just right on your doorstep. Explore the rockpools upon sunrise and watch the tides come in at sunset while you sip on a wine or two with uninterrupted views. Enjoy dinners cooked over the barbeque with the complimentary hot plate available on deck or head to one of the many local eateries like Caffé Primo in nearby Minlaton or the Tavern on Turton in the popular town of Point Turton, both approximately 15 minutes drive away. Featuring 3 spacious bedrooms consisting of: – · a queen bed with ocean views in room 1 · a queen bed with baby cot in room 2 · and 2 sets of single bunks ideal for children & teens in room 3 All rooms have the added comfort of ceiling fans, while room 3 has also been thoughtfully equipped with books, toys and lamp lights fitted above the upper bunks for your kids to snuggle up with reading for some down time. Experience the joy of staying in an off grid solar powered house. This modern light filled 2 bedroom house with open plan living area offers spectacular ever changing views down the valley and across the sea to Kangaroo Island. The house stands alone on 2.5 acres. Secluded and private country property with 'walled' secret garden, olive grove, orchard, native and exotic trees. Generous living area with polished wooden floors throughout, a cook's kitchen and floor to ceiling glass doors. The main bedroom opens onto the deck and the garden beyond or the stars above. Enjoy the hot water outdoor shower under the sun or stars. (yes, we do also have an indoor shower) Watch the wildlife - native birds, kangaroos and the occasional echidna through the floor to ceiling picture window. Quality bed and bath linen provided. Glass door woodheater (wood provided). Gas cooking Hi-fi stereo (with MP3 input), CD collection. Gas barbecue Outdoor shower with hot water. PLEASE NOTE - we have no wifi. 90 mins south of Adelaide GPO 5 mins to Deep Creek Conservation Park 10 mins from Cape Jervis and Sealink ferry to Kangaroo Island. A short drive to Morgans Beach at Cape Jervis, Second Valley and Rapid Bay beaches. Experience the scenic walk (or the 4wd road) to the surf and popular fishing spot at Blowhole Beach. Discover the varied walks within Deep Creek Conservation Park with its stunning coastal scenery, or explore beyond to Tunkalilla, Waitpinga and Parsons Beaches along Range Rd to Victor Harbor. Visit the beautiful Raywood Nursery growing and selling exotic and native plants 5mins away on Tappanappa Rd, with a 1000yr old Grass tree (Xanthorrhoea sp.) growing near the carpark! Please note, there is no air conditioning in the house, though there are ceiling fans and other fans. We have a dam on the property, which may or may not have water, so parents with young children will need to supervise them at all times.Please note. Children under 16 are $10 extra per child per night. Adults $25 extra per adult per night.

A one bedroom studio with a queen bed, kitchenette, and a weber q on the deck. We are completely off-grid! A comfy sofa bed and heater for those cold nights.
