Peaceful & Cozy Private Living Space

You will have the entire basement-- two bedrooms, bathroom, small kitchen area, & living room-- to yourself. We are in a wooded setting a couple of miles from town. You'll be able to enjoy your own patio entrance (pond view) with access to a firepit. We are close to the White Pine Trail, the perfect place to walk or jog. We think you'll find the space peaceful & cozy. There is a stairway to the upstairs, but it is curtained off for privacy. You will have the entire floor & entrance to yourself!

Beautiful Wilderness Retreat

This cabin is a great place to take a country retreat! It is nestled in a small clearing in the wilderness of the Manistee National Forest. You will be surrounded by beautiful nature, a trout stream, a Japanese Garden, an English Garden, an orchard and barn with free-range chickens. The cabin doesn't have electricity or running water or kitchen but guests have access to two great bathrooms with access separate from the main house, Wi-Fi, and the electricity and kitchen at the main house.

Relax and have fun in this spacious cottage, stocked with everything you need. Waterfront with four kayaks, a paddleboard, a canoe, a row boat, and eight river tubes all available for your use. If you prefer to stay on land, there is a large two person hammock located in the shade of the willow tree, outdoor games, or enjoy the large deck where you can lounge and have a meal. Inside you will find board/card games, dvds, and a ping pong table that can convert to a pool table or air hockey.

Charming cabin in the woods that sleeps 6. 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths. Located in a very secluded area on 100 wooded acres that we own, with trails all throughout the property. A nice getaway to enjoy some peace and quiet. Overlooks a bluff. This property is on a county maintained dirt road, not on two track. State land is nearby for hunting. Located 3 miles from the Evart Motorsports trail. A short drive to Evart, and evart trails to enjoy your ORV, side by side, dirt bikes, and snowmobiles.

Little Log cabin on the Big Muskegon River.

This sweet little cabin on the river is a remodeled/updated log cabin from the 1940’s. Simple and slightly rustic, with everything you need for a comfortable stay! We think it has the best view on the whole river. There is shallow water and a sand bar mid-river in front of the house. The swans, geese, ospreys and Bald Eagles are a treat to watch. The cabin is a relaxing and intimate getaway for couples. It is cozy in the winter with a small hot tub overlooking a beautiful view.

Lake access is available for entry to the lake to enjoy summer or winter activities. We are located 7.5 miles from Haymarsh State Game Area and 12.5 miles from Big Rapid where you can attend a Ferris game or dine in one of the many local restaurants. However you plan to spend your time, enjoy it at Chippewa Overlook Lakehouse.

Quiet, relaxing home in a country setting. It is close to Hardy Dam and the little Muskegon River. The Manistee National Forest is 1/2 mile away. It is also close to tubing locations and swimming. The Dragon mountain bike trailhead is less than 5 miles away. The house is recently remodeled and is on 10 acres. Enjoy walks through the woods, and a bonfire at night. Great place to relax and enjoy nature.

Quiet, relaxed, country setting in a nice subdivision. It is only 5 miles to Big Rapids, where you will find a great variety of stores and restaurants. The house has many amenities such as remodeled bathrooms, one with a walk-in tub, a pool table, a large social area, a nice covered grilling area, and an automatic generator if needed. Perfect place to have fun, relax and enjoy Michigan's nature

Big Rapids, Peaceful, Cottage in the Woods

Get away in the woods and enjoy a peaceful, quiet relaxing place. Enjoy seeing deer in the morning with your morning coffee and relax by the firepit at night. This home is off the road and has 4 bedrooms. Enjoy exploring several acres. We are just minutes to Big Rapids, and Ferris State Univ. Also just minutes from Hungerford Lake and Horse Trails. Horses are welcomed on our property.
