There is a beautiful walk around the river blackwater just minutes from the cabin with falls and old bridges. This lovely detached cottage is based on the edge of Kiltarlity on the family Croft (small farm) and without a doubt is a superb base for exploring the many attractions and activities this area has to offer. The popular village of Beauly is only 4 miles away and offers a very good range of shops and restaurants, with Inverness, just 12 miles away. Loch Ness only 9 miles ‘over the hill’. The property is situated in a secluded part of our garden approximately 22 meters from the main house, with stunning views onto a beautiful field and Wardlaw Mausoleum (Outlander) We are just 1 mile from the NC500 route, 8 miles from Inverness,, 4 miles from the the pretty little village of Beauly. There is an hourly bus service that runs from kirkhill which can take you to both places. Achnagairn castle is just a 5 minute walk away.
