Welcome to Lake Spot, a modern cottage situated on the peaceful south end of False River. Relax with the whole family and enjoy wildlife viewing, fishing, kayaking and water sports. The two-story boat dock allows excellent views of False River and offers a perfect covered seating area. If the season allows, guests are welcomed to use the fire pit located in the spacious back yard near the lake. The screened back porch and adjoining patio offers another location to take in the scenery.

Our cozy cabin sits in the heart of Cajun country, about 30 minutes outside of Lafayette. It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.

Upstairs bedrooms are smaller and sleep 3 each in bunks and twins - perfect for kids. **NOTE** Lake drawdown starts after Labor Day 2024 through Jan 15, 2025. Dock not accessible by boat during 6 ft drawdown. The rest of the lake remains open to fishing and other recreational activities.

Steps from the water, this camp sits on a giant 70-foot lot with a carport and cozy screened-in porch. The inside is super clean with central air and heat and 2 window units. There's 2 swings - 1 on the pier and 1 under the porch, a fire pit, and tons of room for a big cookout!
