Cozy, fun, 3 bedroom home with a pool and Hot Tub.

3 miles from concerts. Relax by your own, personal pool and roast marshmallows by the fire in the private back yard. Then come inside and enjoy a foosball game at the living room table. This is a peaceful and centrally-located place, in a safe neighborhood. It’s about 5 minutes away from everything in Bangor, and a little over an hour away from the Bar Harbor area, depending on traffic. The entire house is available to you, including the yard, fire pit and pool out back. The pool is unheated.

This is a great central location for many of Maine's greatest attractions and places to visit as well as events to attend. We are only 21 miles from the University of Maine, Orono (UMO), 36 mi to great destinations like Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and 7 miles from Interstate 95. Best view on the Lake! 500' of frontage out on a point. Private boat launch and dock site available. Covered deck to watch the sunset. Outdoor firepit, as well as indoor gas insert. Propane grill on site. Plenty of parking available. In the winter, ideal location for snowmobiling and ice-fishing. Right on to the lake and then 4 locations to get on local/ITS trails. Great fishing 200’ from the porch. Once the ice is out, hit the black crappie and Smallies from the convenience of a private launch

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located home. Distances- .9 miles to Maine Savings Amphitheater 42 miles to Acadia. This home is within walking distance to the casino, the Cross Center, a seafood market, Paul Bunyan statue, and several restaurants. The highway is easily accessible. The home has 4 bedrooms(one designed to be primarily for children), one with a king bed, and two with queens. Also, the living room sectional has a pull out bed.

I call my place "The Barn" because as I was finishing it it took the shape and feel of a barn. It's not a barn. It's a quiet post and beam open concept building (a Jamaica Cottages kit) set among the fields of Appleton Maine. You'll sleep in the loft or on a futon on the main floor. The bathroom is huge, 10X10, with a heated floor. It's an open concept kitchen and living space. From Appleton you are 20 miles away from the tourist destinations of Camden, Rockland, and Belfast.

Located about a 1/4 from groomed X-country ski trails. Thank you for considering the Hideaway for you stay. The house is well equipped for your comfort. Located near the Hulls Cove park entrance and beach.
