2 room apartment on the sun terrace Amden

Dear guests, Alex or I will meet you in person and show you the 2 bedroom apartment. The sun runs around the whole house, making the apartment very bright and friendly. The apartment is decorated in light vintage style due to the age of the house. They look out of every window into the mountains. The apartment is located in a cozy old building from 1914 on the second floor in the center of Amden. Chair lift, hiking trails, indoor pool, ski school and the beautiful nature are at your doorstep.

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The holiday apartment is located below the village of Amden. The peasant family also lives in the same house. During the hay harvest or other work, there may therefore be some noise (milking machine, hay ventilation) or there are odor emissions (slurry). But we do our best and take this into account as far as possible. We have cats, dogs and chickens, the goats and cows are from June-September on Alp. We sell organic milk and eggs. Dogs are allowed, just book with us, costs 30 Fr.

This two-storey gallery penthouse on 133m2, located in the Walensee resort, is characterized by its unique view of the mountains and directly over the lake. From this location you can walk to the Unterterzen-Flumserberg gondola in a few minutes, to the Unterterzen train station in 150m or to the lake. This apartment was renovated in summer 2019. A homey apartment for 2 - 4 people has been created. It is well connected to public transportation. The nearest ski resort can be reached by post bus in just 13 minutes. Beautiful walks can be made from the front door. For bookings of one night or more, you will receive the Toggenburg guest card with which you can benefit from many discounts. By public transport you travel free of charge in Obertoggenburg.

Welcome to Amden high above Walensee! "We had an awesome time here! Lots of different activities to do, in an area not overrun by hordes of summer tourists. The house was more than comfortable for eight of us, and the balcony was amazing. Peter and his wife were lovely hosts, and I would absolutely recommend Peter’s place." Ayse July 2022
