There is a university hospital, a vast prefectural botanical garden, 3 supermarkets and 1 coin-operated laundry within walking distance. It is convenient for short-stay. Transfer to the nearest station is free of charge. ex. Fukui Sta. When I was in my twenties, I stayed comfortably with the families of Luleo, Helsinki, Oslo and dusseldorf, and I remember being very impressed because it was the first Europe.
