The Red House on Cross Lake

This is a Cross Lake cabin that we renovated from an old catfish restaurant built in the early 1930's. We call it the RED HOUSE. There are three cabins on the property that we also use for visiting family and friends. We live on the property behind the houses and we all use the property and pier. Guest also have use of the pier/boat house. The house is at the end of the road on the lake. Although family also uses the property the cabin is quiet and private with a great view of the open lake.

Private country atmosphere in city located on 7 acres. Lots of large pine and oak trees, birds, and catch and release from onsite pond. Plenty of room for horse or boat trailers to park. 5 to 10 minutes from restaurants and stores if your not in mood to cook. Daily pet fee $10.00 per day per pet due check in 2pets. 30 lb. limit unless you talk with us first. NO CATS. You will need to provide animal crate if pet is left alone in cabin. After 10PM inquires will be answered the next morning

Historical Patillo/Key Home

The home is unique among Harrison County's Texas Medallion homes due to the fact it was built as an investment and used primarily as rental property. It is the oldest hand-made brick structure in Marshall and portrays an excellent quality of construction. The indoor floors are made of hard pine, and the doors, mantels and chimney are original. Colonial William S Richardson was original owner of a five acre track of land that the home was later built.
