Atelier apartment at the foot of the Wartburg

Entire, independent studio, 52 sqm, with well-equipped, integrated kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The location is ideal if you want to explore Eisenach, the Wartburg, or the hiking opportunities on foot. (Bachhaus Museum, Markt u. Lutherhaus 10-15 min., Wartburg: approx. 35 min. (Waldweg), Bahnhof: approx. 15 min. Hiking: Right behind the house begins the forest and many hiking opportunities close by. I am more than happy to give tips and information material. The windows of the studio go to the yard, which partly greener serves as a parking space to the (large) part. Various restaurants and cafes are on the way to the nearby downtown (about 6-10 minutes walking distance). The surrounding southern district is the preferred residential area of Eisenach and worth seeing alone because of its many Art Nouveau villas. In winter, the historic Christmas market on the Wartburg is a special experience (on all weekends in Advent). If the nearby Prinzenteich (2 min ) is frozen, it is visited by young and old for ice skating! The studio ( non-smoking), which consists of a large room with integrated kitchen, offers space for 2 people on a comfortable sofa bed (1.40 m x 2.00 m). Since there are always requests, there is now the possibility of a 3rd sleeping place on a guest mattress. Coffee and various types of tea are at the guests' disposal. Sheets, towels and hair dryers are available. In addition, of course: washing utensils/tea towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/shower bath. Guests traveling by car have a private parking available right in front of the entrance. Notice: actually the studio is not available on wednesdays, (arrival wednesday-evening is sometimes possible). Exception: school-holidays. Note: with the exception of the Thuringian school holidays and public holidays, the studio will not be available on Wednesdays from 4-6 pm. If your stay is a Wednesday, you will get a delicious breakfast as a small reimbursement. Just let me know your wish day before arrival.

Beautiful idyllic holiday home on 3000 sqm of land A lot of hiking and bike trails offer all possibilities. A number of downhill ski slopes and cross-country ski trails are also available in winter. The popular destinations of Wasserkuppe and Milseburg can be reached by car in about 10 minutes. At 950 m, the water dome is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers an extensive range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

In the middle of the city, yet quiet. This is probably best described by our great large apartment. These can be found in Wartburgstadt Eisenach. All famous sights, such as Wartburg (Unesco cultural heritage), Bach and Lutherhaus, city castle, castle monument, Dragon Gorge and the automobile museum are in walking distance. In just 2 min. to the city center with numerous shops, supermarket, restaurants and cafes. Welcome Kati and Axel Rommel.

The idyllic cottage with a size of about 50sqm has a living room with open kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with space for 4 people and a dining area. The cottage is located in the climatic health resort of Finsterbergen directly on/in the forest, in a small bungalow settlement. Because of its location it offers an ideal starting point for hiking (Rennsteig). The leisure pool with minigolf and volleyball and a tennis court are about 200m away.

Waldkauz's guesthouse family in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love them because of the heavenly tranquility, the little door in the woods and still only 20 km away to Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and larger groups. Unless it is about uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

Dear potential guests: Whether in transit, for a small break or for longer - our apartment is quickly accessible and a good place to relax in the evening. The sofa-bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool, good gastronomy and a beer garden.
