Take it easy at this quaint and cozy cabin located in a quiet area on Pine Mountain. Enjoy your morning coffee in the rocking chairs on our screened in porch and in the evening wind down on the back deck, enjoying the deer who come to play at dusk. The cabin is 10 minutes away from Callaway Gardens which has many events and activities. We are also close to FDR state park, many hiking trails and Roosevelt Stables. We are 20 minutes away from Great Wolf Lodge and 50 minutes from Auburn University.

Find your happy place at our cabin on the pond. Relax and enjoy all that nature offers right out the front door on the deck. Want to explore? Callaway Gardens, FDR state park, and FDR's little white house are only a few area attractions. A well-stocked kitchen, a refreshing shower with luxurious towels, and a "please don't wake me" comfortable bed are only a few of the things our guests love. Comfortable, clean, cozy cabin nestled in the woods of FDR state park. Backyard with enclosed doggy area slopes down directly to Pine Mountain hiking trail. Roomy master bedroom downstairs, upstairs queen bedroom with spacious bathroom and small outdoor balcony. Large front porch with swing; quaint back porch for viewing the beautiful sunsets. Electric fireplace, park grill, pullout sofa, Keurig with K-cup pods provided as well as welcome drinks and basic spices.

The Roosevelt

I built this cabin in 1989, this property has a lot of history, it was part of the land that my father in law acquired from the Roosevelt program, I believe that was in 1932, he was one of the few original settlers. we have 25 acres we are in process of making walking trail that will wind back and forth through the entire property. will be a good chance of seeing all kind of wildlife including deer turkey, squirrels and all kind of birds

Full kitchen Wood burning stove No phone Full bath Running well water, if you are not accustomed to well water I provide Callaway Blue water dispenser. Porch with grill A/C Very secluded Only 45 minutes from Auburn University. DO NOT ALLOW PETS ON THE FURNITURE OR IN THE BED. YOU WILL BE CHARGED EXTRA CLEANING FEE AND FURNITURE DAMAGES.
