Doctor's Retreat, a unique pioneer experience!

An affordable, rustic yet modern cottage. Warm and cosy, it is a delightful retreat at any time of the year. It is well appointed and enjoys all day sun. The verandas around the cottage are a nice spot to sit and enjoy that glass of wine, beer or a coffee/tea while taking in the views. Located in a mature wooded area on Pioneer Drive, 250 metres from the lake and the Church of the Good Shepherd with a western aspect towards Mt John and Lake Tekapo village. it does not have a lake view.

The Whitestone is a large, superbly appointed apartment designed for the traveler wanting superb comfort & top quality facilities in kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Several top restaurants and cafes are within a hundred meter walk with galleries & shopping also very close in the Victorian Precinct. The beach at Friendly Bay & the Little Blue Penguin Colony, an Oamaru highlight is a 2 minute drive. This apartment is ideal for the discerning traveler & is designed for a couple only.
