An adult hideaway in the woods nest

It opened in August★ 2022. It is a hidden cottage recommended for those who want to relax in the greenery. Forget the hustle and bustle of the city, it is a comfortable environment for long-term stays on a work-cation. Enjoy a simple and luxurious time surrounded by nature with the birds chirping. We have wooden interiors with architect-designed furniture such as imported windows and blow-out interiors, and tableware is prepared with a warm atmosphere.You are also looking forward to the BBQ on the wooden deck where you feel the sound of the wooden breeze. As an optional stay from July★ 2023 I'm hosting a workshop in Kitakaruizawa You can make the soap from the handmade soap shop "tie". The house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a spectacular view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, and Matsuo) about 15-20 minutes away by car, and they are also a great base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning stove sauna and a water bath with stunning views. There are no private houses around, so you can watch music and movies with loud noises. Since it is a house nestled in the mountains, we will do our best to take care of it, but during the warmer months, insects can be seen.It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, the leaves fall. You will also need to adjust the wood burning stove yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but it's got an incredible view. Enjoy cooking with a kitchen counter with spectacular views, condiments, and a cooker. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

Entire building as a private villa for all 1000 ㎡ in 7 spaces. The entire "Rock Forest" has seven main concepts. We will provide you with each "way to spend". After locally sourcing fresh ingredients, head to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and climb the stairs to carry the ingredients to the hearth space. I don't get to meet other people. From Tokyo to Karuizawa, it is 60 minutes by Shinkansen, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so for example, you can work in the morning and take a half afternoon. Please spend a relaxing and extraordinary day surrounded by nature. During the winter season, the outside hot spring is closed.

Ohinata in Sakuho-town is a small village in a valley. I renovated a 80 years small wooden house by myself taking a long time. The building used to be used for raising silkworms by farms. It was our culture and industry to get silks in this area. You can have a calm time for having Coffee and beer, reading books, listening music... The village is surrounded by nature for hiking to mountains and rivers. Some local families live in around the house, so please stay like the village people.
