The Barn House is a private, cosy and peaceful house. Set in a scenic reserve with views over the Waikato River and town. A short 10 minute walk to the town center will get you to Taupo's many restaurants, bars, shops and events! Easy gated private access to the river for swimming, fishing, kayaking. Although very close to town the house is situated at the end of a no through road and is quiet and tucked away suitable for couples, sporting enthusiasts, families or small groups.

Cottage Lane close to Town

A private entrance leads upstairs to a light airy and sunny bedroom and ensuite. Views of the lake from the front window. Parking right outside the door, walk 750meters to town to enjoy breakfast at one of the many cafes. Ski slopes are just over an hour away. Fridge, kettle, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, crockery, cutlery,wine glasses, chopping board and sharp knife . Iron and ironing board. Beach towels for a dip in the lake. Washing machine and dryer on site.

Great location, great shower, great beds!

I’m so happy to be able to share my wonderful home with others and supplement my pension 😀 The AirBnb rooms are separate from my part of the home. There’s 2 rooms and a bathroom. The bedroom has a queen double bed. The lounge has a king double bed and couch with a tv, a microwave, toaster, jug and fridge. It is quite roomy 6x4 mtrs. There is a small step up to the shower so take care coming out of it. You will enjoy beautiful Taupo. 😎

The entire home and garden are yours to enjoy. If cosy, private, quiet and a 'Home Away From Home' are what you are looking for, this 1-bedroom gem is it. A very well-equipped kitchen, comfy queen bed, bose speaker, sun-drenched deck, large garden and a roaring fire each evening. Off-street parking for 2 vehicles. A fabulous local bar and restaurant, hairdresser and takeaway shop within walking distance as is the lake. Peaceful area with glimpses of the mountains and lake. A 5 minute drive from the town centre. Easy access to all the highways from its central location. Additional guests have access to a roll out sofa bed.
