Cedarfield was built in 1990, as a traditional log home, with modern comforts such central heat/air and a full kitchen. Get comfortable with the cozy feel of wide plank pine floors, wood burning fireplace, metal roof, and screen porch. The home and spacious private yard are a perfect escape from everyday life, whether you want rest and relaxation or hiking and winery-hopping. The saltwater pool is open from the end of May to mid-September (unheated), and the hot tub is available year round.

Unplug from city life and venture out to our small organic farm. Spend a night or two in the private guest cottage while enjoying nearby vineyards and restaurants. Spend the day browsing in the local antique shops or relax on the farm and watch nature's display (butterflies, birds, an occasional critter.) We may be working in the garden or putting up hay. Enjoy the beauty of each season at our historic Tiny Log Cabin, built in the 1800s and newly renovated on a beautiful farm setting. Please read all of the description below, and scroll to the bottom before booking! Note—the cabin can be warm in the summer and chilly in the winter due to the logs and chinking. There is a window unit AC and heater in the winter. Also note—the full restroom/shower is a 30 yard walk to the basement of our home. Kuerig with coffee. No refrigerator or microwave.

Threlkeld Farm,quiet, restful, fat pillows!

Romantic getaway. Large, comfortable queen bedroom/bath on Threlkeld Farm (circa 1828). Civil War buffs will enjoy being at the edge of the Brandy Station Battlefield and near the Graffiti House Museum, and St James Church. It's a great base for visiting historic sites nearby in Culpeper. This is horse country and the Warrenton Hunt sometimes hunt the farm. Wonderful resturants and history to explore in Culpeper County Virginia. We are in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Private.

Beautiful farm location with newly renovated space featuring a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker and toaster. Bedroom/living area with queen bed and twin sofa bed.
