The Stables are tucked away from the road with a gated private drive. There is underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. The ground floor bedroom has twin beds, which can joined to make a large double, whilst the first floor mezzanine bedroom has a double bed, with fine sunset views. There is parking for 2 cars and cycle storage. Good local shops close by.

This 16th Century hideaway has been artistically restored, exposing wattle and daub walls and the wobbly oak beams by a Suffolk artist. A beautiful large farmhouse, dating from approximately 1600 and listed Grade II, in acres of idyllic gardens and overlooking a mile-wide river estuary. There is direct access from the bottom of the garden onto the ‘sea wall’ along the river, for walks and wonderful birdwatching. There is a duckpond (fenced) by the house and chickens (collect the eggs), and a large summerhouse with veranda in the garden, as well as a paddock of alpacas!
